Shower not very good

Location is great, 24 hour reception and friendly staff. A kettle in the room is always a nice touch. The lift was out of order when we stayed.

The position of this hotel is excellent, right in the city center, 3 minutes walk from the Vieux-Port. Around you have all the bars, restaurants, shops, clubs. The staff is very gentle and helpful. Cleanliness was ok. So many things not working in this hotel for this price. In the description there is written there is air conditioning, but the air was not working and the room was so hot! The sun hit the room the entire day. I slept terribily because of lack of air and in the morning I woke up with a terrible headache, which affected me all day long. I complained with the staff at the reception, and the guy was really kind and gave us another room. Air conditioning was not working also there, but at leats it had a more fresh exposure. WiFi working only at the reception, not in the rooms. There is an elevator in the hotel, but it was out of service. The hotel is right in the city center, so expect noise all day and night long if your room faces the main street.

Hotel is really in the city centre, just couple steps to the Old harbour. Location is great! The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The hotel REALLY needs renovation and new house keepers. Maybe just proper cleaning, new painting and some initiative of interior designer and the hotel could be really hot stuff. It is a pity.

Location was really good and staff were so helpful and lovely The actual room was tiny and facilities weren’t the best. No AC and was very warm
-
Nothing The room was small, pillows were uncomfortable. For the price I paid, the hotel should have better room

Place location, staff kindness, facilities, price Lift out of order (it can happen) but anyway the lift starts from first floor instead of ground floor
-
Location was good, central and close to old port. Staff were friendly and helped get taxi when required. Lift out of order for the duration of our stay and no help with heavy cases up or down narrow winding stairs. Shower was handheld over the bath and awkward to use

Location was good. The guy who checked us in was nice. Came to try to fix the TV and when he couldn’t he moved us to the next room. Also brought a kettle to the room as there wasn’t any in either of the rooms we were in. We were up on the fourth floor, lift was not usable (out of order) and stairs was quite dangerous, I lost my footing a few times. No fire plan to be seen so that worried me a lot. We paid for 4 nights but checked out after 1 night (no refund) . Just could not stay there. Rooms were the tiniest ever. Beds and pillows most uncomfortable.

Excellent location, the best in town, close to everything, restaurants, bus stations, subway, bakeries, supermarket, drugstores, pubs, night clubs. The cost benefit ration staying in this hotel is extremally high. there was not anything special that i did not like in the hotel, fair price for what it is offered, other hotels nearby would charge you hundreds of euros per night

Very pleasant, helpful staff. Very close to the lovely harbour where all the action is. Very limited space to move around. Two people wouldn't work. Not enough shelving in minute wardrobe to store clothes. Handheld shower - a pain. Deep pillows very hard.

Clean and great location Quite expensive as Rugby World Cup location
-
Whilst the room was clean and tidy it was small and basic. It was over priced but we had little choice as the prices of all hotels had been hiked up due to the rugby.

The staff was excellent, the little tiny girl at the front desk dragged our bags up and was so sweet and helpful even though we arrived exhausted and angry . The location can’t be beat.

The best thing in this hotel is location. It's 150m from Vieux Port, it's restaurants and bars. The building is old (as anything around it). The people running the place were helpful and nice to talk. In order to learn about Marseille or french way of life. The breakfast was a quality one in size and taste, compared to ones we wanted to experience also in Vieux Port cafes. Our room was smallish. Pillows opposite styles we like.

Good location in the old port area of Marseille. The bathroom was large and clean and had a bath/shower and decent sized mirror. The bedroom was smaller than I was expecting. The bed was slightly hard for me but for others would be ok I guess. The breakfast was disappointing with no fresh bread only dried biscot type.
