I had to leave by train early in the morning so the location was ideal The safe in my room didn’t work. The room vas very small — smaller than it sees to be on the pics. (But it is clean, I have to point out.) And the elevator id too small— i hardly could place my luggage

The night staff member was helpful when we found a major problem with a water leak through the bathroom ceiling light fixture. The checking staff were less than interested in getting us in. Close proximity to central station is its only redeeming point. The hotel is in a very dodgy part of marseille, it was dark and dingy, with the smallest lift ever! Musty, very old rooms that are all damp and unpleasant. We had to be moved to a 'superior' room as our 1st room had a serious leaking roof in the bathroom, but the better room still only offer 1 paper cup to use, a window that looked out over a very dodgy looking property next door. I would only recommend it to someone who literally just needs a bed and shower close to transport. For us, it was a major disappointment for our 1st impression of Marseille

The soap dispenser was broken in the shower room and there was no shelf to put the toiletries on. Everything left on the floor. Door frame of shower rotting,

The hotel was clean and the staff ok. 2 metro station from the old port and right next to the train station. The area was pretty scary but that was certainly not the hotel fault.
