Good location, very close to the tram station. The air con in the rooms was also good considering the very hot weather. The room was very small. No place at all to store anything, apart from the small area to put one suitcase (closed) under the bed. There was nowhere to leave your towels to dry either (which makes the experience overall difficult, considering it’s a city where you can easily go to the beach etc, and we had literally nowhere to hang our beach towels, etc - not even the regular bathroom towels. There were just some hoops behind the doors). The mattress was so firm you couldn’t sleep on your front (even sleeping on your back was painful). The pillows were way too small and thin as well which didn’t help. The window didn’t open at all, so you couldn’t get any fresh air into the room. We stayed there for 5 days and they didn’t come to clean the room AT ALL. The floor got filthy after the first few days, especially in the bathroom. They advertise that they charge 15€ for ADDITIONAL cleaning, but they didn’t clean the room in general?! The sink in the bathroom was blocked and the water was draining super slowly making it difficult and unpleasant especially when you were brushing your teeth etc. We flagged it at the reception as soon as we noticed, they said they would send the technician straight away, but no one ever came to fix it. I understand that it’s considered a cheap option, but overall it wasn’t a pleasant stay. Maybe it would have been more worth it paying a little bit more for a proper hotel room (nothing too fancy!) The majority of the staff were also rude and didn’t seem keen to help you…

Location was ok staff were helpful. Room was clean and compact. Budget hotel, didn’t even have glasses/cups in the room. Furniture seemed like it was home made.
