Hôtel le Capitol

Location was good - 20ish min to the water, plenty of shops and places to get food, etc. No bugs. Staff is nonresponsove when you need help and yelled st me to the point of crying because my key got lost at the property. 2 of the 3 beds in the room were terrible. 2nd worst hostel I've stayed at out of dozens. No bugs. No communal areas like normal hostels. This is more like a 3rd world hotel, which I wasn't expecting. At least staff at the hostels I stayed at in actual 3rd world countries were helpful. A male staff yelled and refused to believe I was a single woman traveling alone. "Where is your man! Go get the man, I want to talk to the man in your group!" It was a reservation for 2 days for ONE person, and I never had a guest. He also refused to leave when I was trying to shower and used the restroom. 2 other male guests staying in different rooms had to come out and make sure I was OK and that he left and didn't come back into my room while I was in the shower. Terrifying.

Absolutely horrible experience, for the first time in my life I paid 60 euros to sleep in the molded, dusty, half ruined room with ripping appart bed sheets. Bathroom with a toilet all over in urine and hairs, Shower head spitting water everywhere but not where needed...nightmare...HOW DID THEY GET APPROVED BY BOOKING????

Everything was fine,

The staff was amazing very and helpful and the location was perfect. The bathroom is miserable and distrusting, I saw a mouse in my room twice, the beds were not clean, the floors were sticky and, it smelled terrible.

It is a dunp. I walked out and refused to stay there. No elevator and 4th-floor room (I am 81). Cot and not bed. I repeat. It is a dump.

Horrible

Absolutely disgusting’ from the minute we entered the property to the stairs upto the room. The room was one of the worst accommodations I’ve ever ever had. It was like a centre for the homeless - bedding was broken, blankets were used floor was so cold and just revolting. Do not be fooled by the pictures online - those are definitely not true! We left the property immediately and the admin personelle laughed. Rating of 0/100 Everything was disgusting & appalling!

Sooo dirty place. There is so many mouse in the room. No more stay in this hotell. I really hate it. So dirty

The bed was noisy and uncomfortable, making it hard to sleep at night. The room was not properly cleaned, and there was no toilet paper provided. The staff also didn’t give us the Wi-Fi password when asked. Overall, the experience was unprofessional and disappointing.

I arrived there, doors were open, no one at the reception, It is literally a place for people to have s*x and dr*gs. The place I was in was ruined by people before me. The bed had no sheets, I wanted to leave the place but all hotels were booked. Some people tried to break in at night, thank god I wasn’t sleeping ! I don’t even understand how Booking can reference a place like this !!! The worst place in marseille

Near to the Saint Charles Station and traffic is convenient. The smell is bad, urine's taste is everywhere and curtain in the bathroom is old.

Disappointing

Location right next to our early morning train. Absolutely everything about this so-called hotel. It's an absolute dump to avoid at all costs. Location was great but that's where it ends, we were given a room a floor down from reception. No AC working, place was absolutely filthy, it was a vile I thought about getting a room around the corner for the night but we were all tired and tried to sleep. Unfortunately I should have got another room in another hotel as none of us slept all night due to no air in the place, cockroachs everywhere in the middle of the night and the sheer heat was shocking.

Budget Hotel, don’t expect too much A bit noisy at night

The hotel is the worse hotel we have ever been, is disgusting, dirty, it was literally a nightmare. I’ve never been in such a place like this before. Shouldn’t be on booking.

Nothing Everything

The room and bathroom were not thoroughly clean. Bedsheet and towel looked old and a bit smelly. Locker was broken. There was no blanket available. There was no trash bin in the room.
