La Maison Vague

Sabine was a kind and gracious host. The apartment itself is large, clean and nicely decorated. But the shower stall is dangerous. The property was extraordinarily hard to find. The parking was on a different street and very difficult to maneuver. The shower stall must have been new as it was slick, no texture and no mat. I fell badly and broke my neck, resulting in emergency surgery. I did notify Sabine.

Our stay at La Maison Vague was perfect! The location is absolutely ideal - right in the heart of the coolest neighbourhood in Marseille, with amazing coffee shops, bars and restaurants on your doorstep. The apartment itself is beautiful - light and airy, with lots of chic personal touches and an extremely comfy bed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious too. Nothing - it was all brilliant!

The room is really nice and located look like a fun bohemian street with restaurants and shops. Host was super nice and early checked in is definitely welcome.

Very large Hard to find. Also….walking up 2 flights of narrow stairs with luggage to the apartment was tough

The apartment is very nice and spacious. Everything is super clean, well maintained and beautiful decorated. Sabine is a very nice and worm host. She gave us tips for our short trip and she prepared a very delicious breakfast. Merci beaucoup, Sabine!?

We had the most wonderful stay at La Maison Vague! Sabine & her husband could not have been more welcoming - they graciously let us drop our bags before our room was ready and helped us with instructions about how to take a beautiful trip up the coast for the afternoon. When we returned we settled into our suite with a super comfy bed and a charming sitting room. Each morning Sabine delivered a delicious breakfast, including fresh fruit and pastries from some of the best bakeries in Marseille. The apartment is so quiet and yet 2 blocks away is one of the liveliest neighborhoods in the city. We can't wait to return to Marseille and will definitely return to La Maison Vague! Not a single thing!

Exceptional

Very calm and peaceful despite being in a very central location. The enormous bath tub was heavenly after a hike in the Calanques ( highly recommended that too!) Some guests should know there are stairs to climb. However, there is an elevator for moving luggage. I didn’t like that we only had 2 nights there!

Beautiful room with a small living area and comfortable bathroom. I loved the art from nearby galleries and the French breakfast was delicious. The area, although a little noisy at night, is interesting to explore and walking distance from other tourist destinations. The guest house is also easy to reach with the Metro from St. Charles station. I visit Marseille regularly and am glad to have discovered this beautiful place.

The location for us was good because we wanted somewhere close to both the city and the Orange Velodrome. Breakfast was amazing. Bed was comfy, bathroom was amazing. Owner was super nice and we had a private entrance. The one night stay was perfect for what we needed.

Fabulous apartment in Marseille. Super big and comfy bed. The apartment was way bigger than we expected and tastefully decorated. We had a lovely breakfast and the host is very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Very nice breakfast. Apartment very nice ans spavious, bedroom, living/dining room, big bathroom. Very clean. Parking garage close to property. The host Sabina was very friendly and helpfull, speaks good English. Also have your own private entrance. Difficult to find as you need to look for a door between 2 shops, no place to stop to unload luggage and also no parking around property to stop and find the properry
