Exactly at the beach, and the environment was excellent. The owner was really helpful, trying to provide whatever you ask. I definitely recommend staying with family.

The hotel was great! I could hear the waves from my room. The room was great sized. The owner was wonderful to help me arrange for a ferry ride to Amalfi and Positano and to get a bus from Sorrento to the Naples Airport. I had a great stay and would happily stay here again!

There is nothing to do without going far away

The hotel is right at the beach. You can be the 1st one to get the sun bed before it gets crowded, this was fantastic. The location I would say is quite unique as the beach is small and down the hill. Even though the area around the hotel is small it has a variety of good restaurants right at the sea. The room was very clean and the owner was super friendly, ready to help with anything you may need.

The location was amazing with a great beach view! The facilities were very clean and Marco was an absolute blessing of a host! He was so helpful, called transportation for us and even talked to our taxi driver on the phone to direct them to the proper drop off (especially helpful because we don’t speak Italian). I would 100% come back here! Also, great AC unit! The beds were slightly uncomfortable, but I would sacrifice that any day for this location and hospitality.

The location was great on a small private beach a 4 minute bus drive from the centre of town, marco was a great host and helped with booking excursions from the dock beside the accommodation and recommended activities for us. Plenty of places to eat outside the accommodation also.

We are very grateful to Marco, our host, for organizing everything for us, from arranging parking and "shuttle" to the Alta Marrea ( thank you Filomena!) to fantastic boat trip to Capri. He really takes care of his guests. Also we enjoyed the meals at the family restaurant.

Alta Marea has a very laid-back feel to it, which is exactly what we were looking for. Marco is a fantastic host. He explained everything, made sure our needs were met, and that we were comfortable.

The apartment is nice. Patrizia is so cute & Marco (the owner) is amazing. He helped us with everything that we need (rent a moto, information, daytrips) also he gave a ride to the bus stop when we need. The views are amazing, the house is just in front of the beach with many not expensive restaurants & miniport. The breakfast is served in the bar every morning: croissant & coffee. If you rent a moto or car there is a parking (extra pay) near the house. We were so happy there. Thank you Marco for everything! There is only one bus line to sorrento (every 30min).

The rooms were so close to the beach and the lovely restaurants. Everyone there is so friendly and accommodating. Our hosts Marco and Filomena were lovely and most helpful in transporting us to and from the bus stop. Marco gives helpful recommendations on places to go and things to do in the area. I can honestly say we couldn’t find any faults with the property.

Superb

The village of Puolo is very small and you will not be able to drive all the way to the apartment. You stop about a 5 minute walk up a hill at a car park. This is not a problem as the hotel owner, Marco, is almost always on hand to give you a lift up the hill to the car park. The room is basic but clean and is right beside the beach. Marco is also very helpful if you need help in booking boat trips or information about local things to do. There is no food shops in the village so you have to go to Sorento if you want to get any food or drink for the hotel room.

Where to start! The rooms are huge and spotlessly clean, bathrooms the same and lot of towels. The views and the location next to the beach are ridiculous, literally 10m from the sea, its heaven. But the centre piece (as has been mentioned in many reviews before) is Marco ( and his daughter) It is customer service at its very VERY best. Marco is an extremely warm, friendly, efficient and professional host. If you would like to know about anything else outside of the hotel ie boat trips, site seeing, restaurants and anything else he is also an expert. Nothing.

The property was in such an amazing location, the room was clean and comfortable. There was breakfast waiting next door which was so helpful and tasty and best of them all the owner Marco was so helpful he made the stay exceed expectations I couldn’t recommend this stay more 11/10. Thank you :)

Location is right on the beach. Short bus ride to and from Sorrento town. More authentic Sorrento experience staying here than in the city centre. Good restaurants nearby. The host was also very helpful and provided a shuttle to and from the bus stop whenever we needed it and also dropped us off in the town very early one morning so we could catch onward transport for a day trip we had booked. Everything was great.

We wold like to thanks Marco and Filomena for all the support during our stay. Everithing became much easier!

Wow! I am so grateful that I chose to stay here! :) As a solo traveller, for my first time in Italy, Alta Marea Sorrento was an amazing place to stay at, especially as a base to explore the surrounding area! (Amalfi Coast, Capri, Sorrento) The number one reason that made staying here so special was the extremely friendly staff, especially Marco!! Marco was fabulous and made me feel so welcomed! Before I had even arrived, he reached out to me via Whats App and provided me with some helpful information I had inquired about. Every day he was there and checking in with me to make sure everything was fine and always asking if I needed anything. Truly customer service at it's finest! The property is about 10 minutes from Sorrento, but Marco and staff offer to drive you to and from the property to a bus stop which takes you right to the city. This was so helpful and accommodating! Another thing that made staying here even more special were the amazing boat tours that Marco helps to organize as well! I did both boat tours, one to Capri and one to Amalfi Coast and they were both wonderful! They were also a cheaper price than I had been able to find on my own! It was so nice as you are picked up right from the pier and after a 5 minute boat ride you arrive at the location to board the boat tour! Marco takes care of everything, you just have to show up on time and enjoy the day! I was also celebrating my birthday and Marco went out of his way to make it special! He organized a birthday dinner for me at the restaurant watching the sunset, which was just lovely! He also surprised me with a little birthday cake and a cute souvenir to take home with me :) All in all, it was a fabulous stay! The setting was gorgeous, as it's located on a small bay and the view of the sunset is amazing! There are also a few restaurants along the bay and I ate at least one of the restaurants every night! Food was so tasty and service was wonderful! Thank you for an incredible stay Marco!!! Everything was AMAZING, I just have a friendly suggestion to make the stay more comfortable for anyone with long hair: It would improve the experience if you had a little bit nicer shampoo and also possibly some hair conditioner as well! :)

The location was amazing! Marco was a great host. He picked us up and dropped us where ever we needed! It was great!
