Location; owners treated you as VIP; breakfast was outstanding; we had a great stay.

Google maps got confused finding the location, and the host was moderately helpful. Explaining how to get in took close to an hour. It would make things a lot faster and easier if she just stepped outside and showed us in. Bathroom was kind of dated with the shower cabin so tiny, almost impossible to get into. I thought they stopped making those in 1970s

Breakfast was excellent. Patrizia made sure you had everything you need and it tasted delicious. The location is just near the city center to walk, but far enough to have a quiet sleep. The parking was a bit of a challenge as the square is free public parking, so you might have to look for a spot. For me the bed was a bit hard, but this is personal preference.

Right next to a free public parking lot outside the ZTL but need to be directed to be safe. Breakfast was a superb spread of different items and homemade baked goods. Hostess was very personable. Did not expect the property to be a duplex apartment in a very large residential complex instead of an independent structure. Assigned bedroom was tight for 2 people and luggage. Overall more like an airbnb. Use of whatsapp to communicate.

The hostess was quite nice and the breakfast was very good We had reserved the best (and unusually expensive) room in the house. What we got instead was a very small room, so small that there was no desk or table. There was a single office chair and no comfortable seat. There was no room for a refrigerator or any other amenity. A tiny shower where I could fit because I am not too fat... Why were we not given the very expensive room we had reserved ? The hostess, a nice lady, said she was sorry and that it was all a sad mistake caused by booking.com. Quite a silly story! She appeared offended when we said we felt robbed. But it was too late to find another place to go. Terrible.

Nice owners, good breakfast, great location The room was incredibly small, there was no where to open your suitcase without blocking the path to the bathroom. The owners live there and I didn’t like the feeling of them hovering / always being around. The listing did not make it clear that the owners live there. I would not have booked this if I realized that. Cleaning service put my belongings places where it was very hard to find them (behind curtain in bathroom) and I forgot something because I couldn’t see it. Only the bedroom and bathroom is yours. Kitchen/terrace/living area is all shared. Check-in was terrible. This stay is in an apartment inside a big apartment complex. There is no sign. I never received any instructions, had to wait out in the cold and call multiple times to get in. A simple message with the buttons to press and the codes would have saved me a lot of frustration.

The room was so nice and the staff were wonderful. Friendly, loved our baby, the breakfast was perfect. It was really close to the center of town but nice and quiet right where the BnB was. The staff were helpful and can tell you about tours and help you make reservations. When we got there they gave us a couple maps and booklets and showed us where everything was in relation to the room. Recommended some restaurants which were very good. We will definitely be coming back here, it made the first trip with our baby that much better.

The rooms are in a beautiful, spotlessly clean home with a phenomenal view of Matera. Easy access to the flat by elevator, one of the rooms is upstairs. Our hosts were responsive and exceptionally kind. A wonderful breakfast, with the largest selection we had anywhere in Puglia. Great location for the Sassi. Easy parking in a nearby lot or on the street just outside.

It's a perfect location to explore Matera, free parking close by. Very clean and tidy place with welcoming host. Very rich breakfast being served on the terrace with nice view. thanks.
