Breakfast was not bad Small room, not cozy, bare cement walls, A lot of noise 24 x 7 from the busy Avenue in front of the hotel.
-
Excelente but need air conditioning

Is a Rip-Off the room doesn't come with AC and they don't tell on the website is not even an option so when you get there they get to charge you what ever they want. We payed $150 dollars for 6 days just for AC and we have to wait from Thursday till Sunday afternoon for a room with AC became available. On top of that the place looks nothing like the pictures they have on the website. This exactly why I will choose and Airbnb over a hotel most time cause at least they let you what exactly the room is equipped with. However get to see my review you've been warned ⚠️

This hotel was very modern. The common area had a warm and inviting feel to it (though very gen z in terms of decor). The kitchenette in the room was great and the fridge was surprising large. The bathroom was in good condition (though the weird slogans written on the mirrors and toilets were strange) and the water temperature and pressure were good. Towels and linens were in good condition. There was a free breakfast, though it was very limited in terms of options and variety The bed was uncomfortable and had obvious pressure points. The reason for this was likely because it was a Murphy bed that could fold up into a couch, but having a couch wasn't worth an uncomfortable bed. The desk in the room was too small for a laptop and the chair was a stool; rather uncomfortable if you're trying to work. There was no AC, which would have been fine given the room had windows and a fan, but unfortunately the windows didn't have screens in them. So in the evening if you had the windows open and the lights on, bugs would come in. Thankfully I was on the 10th floor and it wasn't prime mosquito season, but if you don't have AC you need to have screens for the windows. Basically the hotel prioritized form over function to make it seem edgy and appealing to gen z influencers. Unfortunately, they sacrificed a bit too much of the function in the process.

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel overall. The location was convenient, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and key areas of the city, which made getting around Medellín quite straightforward. The staff were friendly and generally helpful whenever I had questions or needed assistance. The room was comfortable and overall clean, with all the basic amenities you’d expect. While everything worked well, although some more thorough clean would have been appreciated. Breakfast was decent. The common areas were well-maintained and added to a relaxed atmosphere. Overall, it was a good experience and very good value for money. I’d consider coming back. The terrace is amazing! I suggest grabbing your coffee downstairs and enjoyijng while in the sun with a view of the entire city. Occasional small cockroaches in the room but i assume it's normal in these parts of the city.

That it was close to a lot of restaurants and bars. No A/C and I let them know about the hot water and supposedly it was fixed but that was not the case.
-
Clean, friendly and central to restaurants and stores.

Everything was great except for the water heater, it was damaged but the water was not too cold.

My sisters and I stayed here for two weeks. Not everyone speaks English, so it helps to know a little Spanish when checking in. Things I liked: • Great working spaces, especially on the second floor. • Convenient location with lots of grocery stores and amenities nearby. • There’s a café on the ground floor. • The area felt safe, and the rooms were nice. Things I didn’t like: • Breakfast can get repetitive, and the staff didn’t change it during our two-week stay. • They’re a little stingy with cereal—you don’t serve yourself; they pour it for you. • No room service, and rooms are only cleaned after guests leave. If you want daily cleaning or fresh sheets, it’s not ideal for longer stays. • The rooms can get loud at night if windows are open. • No ventilation in the bathroom or kitchen, so showers or cooking can get hot and humid. I recommend keeping windows and the bathroom door open. Overall, I think it’s fine for a short stay of a couple of days, but for longer stays where you want daily cleaning and fresh sheets, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The hotel in general looks good and the price was good too. I booked a single room with a twin bed and the lady decided to give me a single bed. I couldn’t sleep, almost nothing, had a terrible night because, even though I was in the 7th floor and with the window completely closed I could hear all the noise from the highway which had nonstop cars all night.

Workout facilities are lacking.

Breakfast was tasty and very good portions Easy to use parking at the university. some of the flats around had a lot of noise. There was not much coming from outside, but inside the building. It needs isolated windows.

The location and the views. Design. The loud street noise caused by traffic, heard practically 24 hours a day. I was not told about this detail. I had to change to a room, actually a 'studio', across the aisle paying for a big upgrade. It was like I had no choice. Make sure your accommodation choice does not say 'non-refundable'. There is no TV service, just a connection to the internet to log in with your personal data (!)

From check-in to housekeeping, the crew was always friendly, caring, and really inviting. Many guests singled out the friendly, accommodating service that gave their visit a customized touch. The inventive and elegant design of the Indie Universe makes it stand apart. Modern and unusual inside spaces and gathering spaces inspire rest, work, or connection among travelers. For digital nomads or anyone seeking to finish work during their vacation, it also has great Wi-Fi and coworking-friendly areas. Rooms are immaculate, tastefully decorated with basic amenities (including kitchenettes in many) and comfortable. Guests frequently bring up dependable internet and comfy beds, ideal for both productivity and rest. Although some reviews point out little problems like room size or street noise, the hotel has great ratings for cleanliness, service, and quality of facilities overall, and many visitors say they would gladly return. For visitors searching for an unusual, creative, and well-situated hotel in Medellín, this is strongly recommended.
