The owner is fantastic, the location is perfect, and it is so peaceful and tranquil. If you need a relaxing place to stay, this place is definitely the best hostel in all of Medellin. Honestly, I liked everything.

Location, price, and staff. Easy walk to multiple food places. Nice neighborhood, felt comfortable walking after dark. Staff was friendly did my laundry for a small fee.

Great hostel, very helpful and friendly staff, clean and comfortable. They offer coffee in the morning, special shout-out to Camilo, who was a fantastic volunteer.

A guest hang his clothes every day in our room, which make there a bit bad smells when I was staying. But I understand it is not hostel’s fault.

The garden was really missing shadow and when it rains you can't be there no covered area.

The Yellow House is super clean, the staff is very helpful, the kitchen is big and has everything you need to cook, the showers are great with strong water pressure and hot water. It has a nice back yard and front yard to enjoy. I absolutely recommend The Yellow House to anyone travel to Medellin. It's close to some excellent restaurants and parks. The Metro is a five minute walk. The yellow house is awesome. You will definitely not regret your stay at the Yellow House. I kept extended my stay.

The place was well run and had a decent kitchen. The guests were interesting and respectful. The location is excellent, situated in the Estadio district.

My third year in a row there. Why? The location is excellent, in a residential district of Medellin near metro, restaurants, parks, etc. Except for the occasional dogs barking, the neighborhood is quiet and safe and the proximity to two parks is nice. Plus the owner, Raul, went out of his way to make sure that my bunk was comfortable. Most everyone on staff only spoke Spanish; this made me have to understand and speak Spanish, which was one of my objectives in going this time. The one dorm is rather cramped. The backyard could be developed into something better.
