Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Medford

The daily housekeeping was a pleasant surprise. We’re used to hotels only servicing rooms after the third or fourth night, so we weren’t fully prepared for it. The housekeeper did a great job and worked around our “travel chaos” to keep everything feeling tidy and comfortable. The breakfast was also very good, with the usual options like scrambled eggs, a self-serve waffle station, sausage, and cereal, but also delicious frittatas, which were a nice touch. The shower was excellent, especially for my tall husband, who often ends up with the shower head hitting him in the chest. Here, the shower head was high enough, and the shower itself was spacious and comfortable. The pool is important to note: It was clean, heated, and well maintained, but definitely very small. When travel sports teams are staying there, it could feel a bit cramped and rowdy for others. My kids thought the pool was too small. My son and I were able to enjoy it by going at a quieter time. There were also kids in the pool without parents who were throwing clean towels in and slinging them around, which is more of a parenting issue than a hotel issue. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

Clean room and convenient parking location.

The step on the pool ladder was hanging loose in the pool.We informed staff it was broken. Staff did not report it to manager. We reported it to management and the step was removed. No sign placed in the pool area to alert others of danger.

Breakfast is provided, but food choices are very limited.

My kids just commented that pool was kinda small. I would definitely would want to choose it again.

Clean, quiet room.

The location was great. It was very easy to find without having to get into the deep part of town. The price was great, as well as the facilities. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, breakfast was good too. I will stay here again, the next time I drive through. Easy to find and comfortable.

Good location…safe…convenient to get to. Shower floor was dirty, pillows were old & flat, only a top sheet & VERY thin bedspread, a/c only worked if you set it at 63 degrees or lower…so you either freeze or swelter w/lack of air circulation, the breakfast was by far THE WORST breakfast I’ve ever had…cold scrambled eggs-sausage patties that appeared very undercooked-watery & tasteless oatmeal-cold/hard biscuits-cold & bland gravy. It was horrible!!

Excellent hotel to stay out in Medford. Easy access right off the highway with great rooms.
