the location - easy to walk around the city or use public transport the check in area is not efficient, mixed with the bar, staff are not trained well, they get flustered by multitasking. Their first priority should be the customers standing in front of them, not the one on the phone or on the other end of an email, but that was what we experienced, they would not even acknowledge us or apologise for the wait. The computer screens are too high so one staff didn't even see the passports people left on the counter until we told him. He was too busy typing and not looking. The bathroom design is a tricky one. A glass box, I guess it's easy to build and low costs. But if you value your privacy even if you are in a solid relationship, these bathrooms are not for you. They are not sound proof ;-)

It was a very convenient location. The room was comfortable and quiet. A wonderful hot shower. The lounge area on Level 2 was great to go to have a quiet drink. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast could have been improved.

Very central to everything, We couldn't check in early, lightning in room was not enough, hard to do makeup.

Perfect location in relation to Southern Cross Station and city trams, small restaurants nearby. Breakfast included is a bonus. The room was compact but comfortable, not sure about the opaque glass ensuite however.
