The location was good, close to the South Melbourne Markets and easy to commute to via train and tram. The noise of the music which went to 12:30am one night. This was the most disappointing factor of our stay and we would not stay at this venue again because if it.

Clarendon Hotel had everything we needed for a base for the formula 1 weekend at Albert Park. Easy walk to the track and lots of food options close by. Didn’t see any staff or guests apart from at check in. Very easy check in/check out process. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay without the bells and whistles of a hotel, this is a great choice.

Elevator not working. No reception person available , check-in is therefore by phone! Rooftop bar and 1st floor restaurant permanently closed although hotel website shows photos like they are still there!

It was 10 min walk from the Casino. Central to the City. Amazing value. Will stay again. ☺️

Location was excellent, and $10 all day parking nearby was very handy. Room was great and spacious,. The cleaning fragrance was a little bit strong when we first arrived

Not much really. It did get loud on Friday and Saturday due to the pub below and above. But, we knew that going in, so not much of a shocker. The only thing I'd suggest, is soft closing doors. Apparently people don't know how to softly close their door, so that was louder than the music from the pubs.

The only negative was the hotel is over a bar so it was a little noisy which I thought was going to be a problem but it was quiet by 10pm so ended up not a big deal and I always bring ear plugs anyways.

Strong cheap cologne smell in the bed and the pillow seems to have been used to mask some other bad smell. Could not sleep because of the smell.

No breakfast served. Location excellent. Great amenities. The constant noise from some sort of electrical motor made sleep difficult.

No kitchen facilities. Breakfast is super expensive in that area. We would have preferred to make our own.

We were absolutely thrilled with our room(s). We were traveling in three and we had two huge bedrooms, two beautiful new bathrooms, a kitchenette and living area plus a washer and dryer! The beds were so comfortable!
