Location is definitely good - unfortunately it’s the strongest point for the property It just simply isn’t nice - lots of stainless steel in the bathroom - which felt like a hospital facility - lighting was average, fingerprints all over the ceiling above the bed, horrible couch to sit on - really, feels like it’s been thrown together quickly and die not represent value for money at all - very disappointed with the property and will never stay here again. Light switch in bathroom moves (literally swinging on the wall), power point in main area not working - just poor

The staff are excellent - friendly and efficient. The hotel is nice overall, a little different from the big chains (in a good way). The location is great for walking the city, with many of Melbourne's laneway eateries in close proximity and close to Federation Square and the NGV. The room is spacious and well-appointed with a coffee pod machine and a good sized ensuite. The bed mattress was a little bit on the soft side for us. If you like a softer mattress this room is perfect but my spine needs a firm mattress. We couldn't figure out how to turn the room lights off before going to sleep - it's very stylish lighting, but the controls next to the bed aren't very responsive.

We stayed on the 8th floor, it was very quiet. The room was large and the bed comfortable with good blockout blinds. Great value for money as it is in a central location, walking distance to theatres, restaurants and cinemas. The lighting in the bathroom.

Check in was easy. There’s a great coffee place next door for a morning pick me up. The room design was cool and the bed was great.

The location is unbeatable. So close to everything and exceptional restaurant surrounding So basic it was like a dormitory. We have stayed before and loved it. This time it was like they just don’t want you to be in the property at all and rely on surrounding places to get you through your stay. For example not a plate, knife or fork. No wine glasses etc. we were there for a weekend with no restaurant in the hotel due to it being upgraded. I get that, so you would think if there is nowhere in the hotel to get food you may have a few items so you could have a cheeseboard or a glass of wine in your room. We bought things in from the south Melbourne market and ended up taking it back home as there was no way to eat it in the room

Location was great. Reception staff very helpful Pillows were awful. Too flat And the noise of water filling a toilet cistern somewhere on our floor was heard every few minutes all night!

Great service at front desk. Didn’t have to wait for any paperwork to get key. Helpful on some team advice saves me a bunch of time. Great front desk staff. Room was huge and comfortable. Restaurant was being renovated but didn’t matter. Heaps of food and drink options within a minute walk!

Location was excellent. Close to everything you need and walking distance to major attractions. The pool deck area was worn and dated. Needs a renovation.

Bed was VERY soft - too soft for us.

Amazing location. Great bed! Restaurant was closed for renovations so there was no lobby or common space. The room was a little tired.
