It’s a well located , homely place, with clean and comfortable facilities. It needs a facelift, but the staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. The tv was troublesome, and didn’t work, but not an issue , as I had my laptop. Wifi not reliable either.

The breakfast included was great, proximity to Richmond and the MCG is great This property backs onto the Metro train tracks, with 2 lines using them - the trains were so loud, like thunder shaking the room, even with earplugs I could not get to sleep until they stopped after 2 am. The mattress was hard. If these don't bother you, the place would be fine.

Perfect location, good breakfast, amazing staff Though the building is very pretty, it is in a bad condition, definitely needs repainting. It is probably quite an expensive job, considering the heritage status, but it it would add a lot of value to the place
