The architecture. the location. The food was good. Wedding venue was good. Dirty dishes from people's room service left in hallways for longer than a day. Cleaning staff entered my room even with the do not disturb sign out. Beds weren't pushed together correctly and sagged towards the join, found myself between the two beds at one point.

I found the room comfortable and enjoyed my stay Wifi was non existent so i had to rely on my personal hotspot from my phone to work. TV was sometimes not getting signal

The heritage features are stunning. The view from our room was beautiful. The location was perfect.

Very comfortable hotel with a great location for walking to shopping, restaurants, theatres & MCG. A couple of hiccups this visit! Booked a twin room and room had a king so had to wait for housekeeping. Got back late after theatre & no kettle in room to make cup of tea.

Great location and lovely old building, nice soft pillows and friendly staff. The mattress was a little old and therefore less supportive to sleep on

Location was fantastic to be able to catch trams and trains so close to everything and within walking distance of the main area of Elizabeth and Lonsdale street. I left my watch and cardigan in the room and despite calling them that day they said it wasn't there which was incredible disappointing especially the watch which had been a special gift from my son. I find it hard to believe that the cleaners did not see it when it was on the bed - I realise it was my own fault for leaving the room without them however it really tainted my experience there. Front of house staff really lovely but this took some joy from the whole experience
