Pillows are pretty soft, but you could probably ask for firmer pillows.

right across the street from Flinders street station. great location with many things in easy walking distance - gallery, shopping, restaurants etc. I like to swim so a pool would have been great.

The location was excellent for getting around Melbourne, very central and right by the famous Degraves Lane for morning coffee and breakfast (we chose not to eat at the hotel). Bed was super comfy, staff were always welcoming and friendly, easy check in process and warm cookie on arrival was a nice touch. Everything was lovely and clean, nice amenities in the room with robe and slippers to use and lovely products. Great shower! Great to get free water from reception, we could get refills through our stay which was appreciated. Also no trouble to store luggage on checkout which was helpful. Room was quite small and very dark, hardly any natural light as we backed onto a passageway looking straight out to another building. Not what I expected at all, however for the price and given we didn't spend much time in the room it didn't really impact us and we enjoyed our stay but something to be aware of. Quite a noisy hotel as well - walls are very thin so we could hear our neighbours TV almost every night which was quite annoying. A room was ready on arrival but I had to pay $50 for early check-in - little disappointing but alternative was to work in the lobby so I paid it to be able to be comfortable in room. Many of the drinks we wanted on the menu were "sold out" at the bar which was a bit unusual, and also annoying - so we only had one drink there during the stay and then chose to spend our money elsewhere. For a hotel they need to consider their restaurant and bar facilities as to be honest I felt they were lacking a little. The restaurant is also in the lobby, leads straight on from reception which felt kind of strange!

Great location with easy access to Melbourne’s main attractions. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. We arrived early in the morning and were grateful that the staff allowed us to check in early because a room was already available. Their kindness made our stay even more enjoyable.

This business hotel is adequate for a night or two. The location is central, but the facilities are not particularly impressive. The entrance can be misleading, as it resembles a bar more than a typical hotel lobby. At first glance, it may not look like a hotel at all. The building is old but has been renovated, with an exposed industrial concrete finish as the main theme. The room size is sufficient, provided you don’t have large luggage or plan to stay for an extended period. However, the WiFi connectivity is below acceptable standards. The mobile signal in the room is almost nonexistent, so you have to rely on the free, unprotected hotel WiFi, which often proves just as unreliable. For a hotel primarily designed for business use, this is quite disappointing in the heart of Melbourne. The breakfast offerings are adequate, though they consist of the basic fare commonly found in other mid-range hotels. Ok value for money if you only stay for a day or so and need a central CBD location. WiFi connectivity in the room is unacceptable. As an older building, the rooms are interconnected by a door that is less soundproof than desired.

the staff were so welcoming and the hotel was excellent
-
What a location; nearly opposite Flinders St station, and a very easy walk to MCG (we went to watch a game on Anzac weekend).
-
Room was warm and stuffy. Air system didn’t work well.
-
Great location, right in the heart of the city. Loved the view of the city lights and station from the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Booked the room for the view so was a little disappointed that the windows were so dusty on the outside. but realize there is a lot of traffic and construction so it can’t always be helped.
-
Comfortable for a single night stay while we attended an event nearby, Arrived, attended event, slept, showered and left. Perfect location for us for this occassion. Slept soundly, comfy bed and very quiet.
-
Quality of room, staff & amenities.
-
The staff and facilities are very welcoming and comfortable. Very expensive and not competitive in price.
-
Decor - desk, cupboards etc getting a bit dated. A mini bar would also have been appreciated. We booked a city view when really all we had was a view of the back of a building
-
The location. The room was large. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nothing
-
Great location There is no door for the shower room.

Breakfast being in reception area wasn’t appealing. A more private space would.
