Holiday Inn Downtown Memphis by IHG

Lobby air did not work, no hot water, elevators were out. Won’t be back.

It was convenient bc the location of the establishment but valet is a priority when it should be a choice… the lobby was hot and staff wasn’t helpful due to their faulty facilities and amenities.. not to mention the elevator plays out and went a day without hot water

A/C was out basically hotel wide. Woke up to boiler being down and no hot water. Started the day of an event with no shower. Staff did adjust some of the bill. She was very nice and as helpful as she could be. But stated that the manager was no where to be found. Valet was a separate disaster. One guy working. People backed up. I have stayed at this property before with no issues. This was a complete 180.

They need to do more investigations into the amenities of the hotels because Holiday Inn didn't provide breakfast instead they charged 18.00 dollars per person and charged 37.00 dollars to park your vehicle but at least your vehicle was safe from vandalism still it should be noted. There was no pool or hottub I personally will not be staying there again just for the simple reason you have to pay for everything if you pay 150.00 or more for a room some amenities should be included just my opinion

The staff was incredibly friendly. very helpful and very positive. The rooms however were not up to par. They’re kind of dated and our shower/tub was dirty and grimy. there was a dead bug squashed on the wall and the toilet seemed to run 24/7. The view was decent from the 7th floor.

The location was the only thing good about this property First room had no hot water and we were told to run the water for 15 minutes and it would get hot. It did not. Got switched to another room and both rooms we stayed in had water damage on the bathroom sinks and stains on the carpet. Definitely not like the pictures show.

Every member of the staff were kind and courteous. The outside noise was awfully loud. The next room tenants were very loud and rude for most of the night. I know it was my fault for not calling the main desk to complain about the noise but common courtesy was not had.

Not the cleanest! Needs to be updated! Employees were very kind and helpful.

The biggest thing was that air conditioning was out in the lobby and dining area! Not good.

The condition of the hotel was unacceptable, and the level of customer service was even worse. The staff seemed unconcerned about resolving guest issues and showed very little urgency or professionalism. II cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed two days and water was still not fixed. We were notified upon checking in.

Bad

The entire experience was a series of disappointments. Upon arrival, the lobby was warm and so was the room. Then we found out that we had no hot water at all. Add in a fight outside our room about 2 am and that was the cherry on top.
