This unique grand hotel has kept true to the ideal of a hotel that makes sure the desires of the traveler are met. The bed was very comfortable, the staff was friendly, and all the smallest amenities were done right - things the big name chain hotels have slacked off on in recent years to cut cost.

Obviously the view was not great as the windows had been covered with some type of clear film that blurred the outside. I would rather have seen the alley or whatever was out there. The bathroom was dimly lit and had mold on the shower head and walls. The worst part was the noise! The first night someone was yelling and cursing loudly, I tried to call the front desk but the phone in the room was not functioning I did notify the front desk the next morning and the phone was fixed. It was a good thing because the next night I had people across the hall partying, when I called to the front I was put on hold for 20minutes before someone picked up. For the price I would rather have stayed at Bass Pro or The Guesthouse. Needless to say the Peabody was a one and done experience for me.

The Peabody Hotel is exceptional and truly remarkable for its historic value. The property is beautifully maintained, and my room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, some aspects of the service fell short. LaDonna at reception was rude on multiple occasions, my room-service breakfast arrived cold and nearly inedible, and the valet scratched my car while handling my suitcase. On Saturday night, surrounding streets were blocked, making access to valet parking extremely difficult; advance notice to hotel guests would have been helpful. Overall, the hotel itself is fantastic. I would simply recommend additional staff training, particularly in customer service, communication, and guest satisfaction. See above
