Hyatt Centric Beale Street Memphis

The only complaint I would have is, this hotel doesn't have free parking. They offer valet parking which allows you to come and go as much as you want. Otherwise you can park in a parking garage across the street for I believe it was $12 but if you leave you have to pay $12 to get back in. The parking garage was very sketchy and I was worried that the car was going to get broken into. As there have been a lot of break ins in the past in this garage. The Hotel in my opinion is in a sketchy part of town, but my sketchy could be the norm for someone else.

The view

The only negative was the pool needed a good cleaning. The color of the water was off. As someone who owns a pool, it seemed like it needed some chemicals.

The propertt was in a great location with a cheap parking garage nextdoor. Walking distance to everything.

Arriving at 8:00 pm, the Valet was a complete mess and staff was definitely in over their head! Moreover, the rooftop bar was chaotic ordering a drink, which should fix the ordering procedure and actually smile at the customers! I was truly not impressed and my wife and I will be staying at another Hotel our next trip to Memphis!

Wall art was 10/10.

Easy check in, convenient to downtown, walkable. Clean, modern rooms.

Location

One of the reasons I booked was for the roof top deck. Unfortunately, there was not a posted schedule for when the deck was open, it was not open during my stay. It was one of the main selling points for me. They should be more clear in the advertising , as it was disappointing.

Wish they had a hot tub

Room was clean and quiet Would have liked the dining room to have been open in evening for lunch or dinner Roof top bar was closed also so that was disappointing

Our room was not ready when we arrived to hotel around 5:45 pm and they made us wait about 45 mins to offer another room which is lower rate than our original booked room. And also the bathroom sink was clogged when we entered the room... Not the best experience you would expect from such hotel. Not as advertised :(

Everything was wonderful. Perfect location. I only wished there was a microwave in the room.

The Centric was amazing!! The staff was so friendly and helpful and there was no part of the stay that was less than perfect! Don't know what they use but the entire place smelled heavenly! Such a wonderful experience. Special shout out to porche at the bar and Jenifer the hostess everyday. They were amazing!!!
