Absolutely beautiful view of the lake from this property. Our balcony had a cute patio that overlooks a garden. The staff were very accommodating and friendly - especially Romeo, their resident round cat. We had drinks and dinner at the hotel too which were great value. Not a big deal, but just be mindful that the rooms don’t have AC. With the windows open we slept just fine.

Beautiful location, served us great dinner, great view from the room, nice and clean. Some people may not like the climb up the hill to get there, especially with luggage we were ok with it.

The location on the hilltop is somewhat challenging to get to, but we enjoyed the energizing walks into town and back each day. Our room was comfortable and quiet, and breakfast in the dining room with its picture window view was wonderful. The most impressive part of our stay, however, was the excellent assistance we received from an employee (sorry we didn't learn your name!) who very patiently navigated several long phone calls in Italian to help me try to retrieve a delayed piece of luggage that was supposed to be delivered to the hotel from Milan. She became my advocate and spent at least half an hour trying to sort things out over the phone. Thank you to all the Hotel Loveno staff for their care and attention to detail. I eventually reconnected with my luggage in Milan just before my flight home :-)

Close to town but still quiet, and on site parking Difficult to communicate with staff with us speaking English

The owner Paulo was friendly and very accomodating to our needs. I would definitely stay at the Hotel Loveno again in the future. The bedroom was a little bare with squeeky floors, but other than that it was very clear, comfortable with a great view.

Room floor was super loud to walk on no matter where we walked or what we tried - haha. Beds just okay on comfiness.

We loved our 2 night stay! The view was magical, and it felt like we were staying in a family run hotel. The breakfasts were delicious, and we ate dinner one night there too and it was wonderful. We’d stay again! Notbing

Taxi definitely needed if arriving with luggage, as hotel located up quite a steep hill.

We had a great stay at this iconic location! We stayed in a room facing the lake with a scenic and unforgettable view, greeted by friendly staff and it’s quite close to Menaggio promenade (note that is possible to walk up there but with a suitcase it’s a bit unconfortable but the going down is easy) The only thing which was unexpected was that bathroom was in a different room, but it’s your own and it is actually nice!

Quiet, natural, lots of birds singing and flowers. The boss is SUPER NICE& FRIENDLY. He gave me a free ride to the town to catch the bus. I love Italian people ? A bit up hill, hard to come by walking with luggage. Packaging is ok
