Hotel Garni Corona

Hotel Garni Corona was a nice hotel and great value for money. Location was convenient, in the centre of town. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were helpful. Although the rooms did have balconies, unfortunately they didn't have any views and were a shame to have a balcony that only looked out to a wall.

Great location in a central area with good restaurants and live entertainment in the piazza. Breakfast was excellent with fresh squeezed orange juice and good selection. Could not watch World Cup match on TV and the WiFi was a little slow for streaming (but this was not the primary purpose of the trip).

We loved the location of the hotel and having a lakefront room made our stay feel really special. The room was spotlessly clean and recently renovated. It was a little on the small side, but the balcony overlooking the lake more than made up for it. The bathroom was a good size with a practical layout, and everything felt fresh and well maintained. Menaggio itself is a lovely place to stay as it still has a genuine local vibe, which we really appreciated. We hope the town can keep that charm. It was very easy to visit the other towns along the lake using the ferry. Depending on where you are coming from and heading next, there are plenty of public transport options too. Staff were very helpful. We stayed 3 nights in mid June. The A/C and WIFI worked well. Nothing.
