Comfortable beds in large room and efficient aircon. Whacky and very old but interesting environment and brilliant modernisation. Car park too far away. Unloading on arrival problematic. Total no no if any disability issues. Multi levelled with stairs everywhere.

A unique place you can never imagine ! So well decorated, full of nice people and ideally located. The city is not interesting, but this hotel is, definitely! I try to find something...

The breakfast was delightful, and the location very central. The hotel itself had a lot of character. I can't remember having such large rooms in a hotel before. If you could afford it, the hotel would be pleasant also for medium-length stays. Nothing.

If you like quirky this is for you. Lovely Boris explained that the building had been a house and a pub and that when his parents bought the property they decided not to pull it apart and modernise it. So what you end up with is a mix of old rickety staircases and floorboards and modern stylish bathrooms etc. It really works so well and the Boris, Mauritz and the rest of the gang were lovely. Oh and the food and wine was fabulous.

Super nice staff. They were very welcoming to our pet. The building is a special mix of old and new structure, very impressive. We thought the restaurant was really good!

Great location in central Merano! Beautiful old building with parts of the hotel dating back to the 1400s, but completely modernized with lift and beautiful bathroom amenities. Great hosts, lovely Italian breakfast. Dinner and bar available downstairs. THe lobby was very cold
