Quality Inn Merrillville

Bathtub was dirty and moldy. Did not shower for this reason. First floor window had no lock. Requested a stick to jamb window and prevent anyone opening it. Towels and sheets were stained. Phone did not work. Had to get assistance to manger the cable to get the TV to work. Receptionist was nice. Only room i could find on this night die the the last k a Paloma festival

Staff was kind and fine but the room smelled like mildew and smoke and was dirty (crusty on the discolored chair with holes) and only had two full towels and literally nothing else- no hand towels no extra blankets no mini fridge nada. I hate to leave a review at all but it wasn't awesome, again nothing against the staff it could've just been a busy weekend but that chair had seen some stuff stg

Hot breakfast was pretty minimal

Fast check in. No issues. Clean rooms, comfortable beds.

Affordable and convenient

me & my family used to come here pretty often however over the years, the quality had diminished. i originally booked a 2 queen bed room, when i got to my room there was paint & dust everywhere as if they were remodeling & the toilet didnt work. i went to switch the room out & she put me in a single king bed room. so i went again to switch the room & thats when i got the double queen room i requested. however there was still paint & dust everywhere. & the freezer was broken as well. the jacuzzi also wasnt working. this hotel used to be my favorite. it was both affordable & nice inside, but i do not think i will come back for a while.

1 set of towels for 2 people, stairway had light out, two people was filming a room that was lock bolt from outside hallway trying to evict someone.

Paid too much to stay here. No soap no washcloths. Couldn't find remote. Went to front desk and got one. Once I got it I could not get the TV to turn on. I checked out early

There were no bath towels, air conditioner did not work and the front desk host was terrible.

Air conditioning leaked and soaked the carpet. Toilet paper roll and towel rack broken. Chair was ripped. Carpet had something sticky on it. And the room smelled like cat pee. The breakfast had gravy out of a crock pot that hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

Th front desk clerk was snippy, hostile and rude. He started out from the first word with a sour attitude.. Also there was a fire two doors down from us at 1 am followed by flooding & shop vacs for hrs. No apology or consideration from FD.

Didn't like getting woke up at 1am by the fire alarm because someone was smoking or cooking something because there was water everywhere ?

The next day, when checking out, I told the desk clerk they had quite a bit of maintenance in that room and he got snotty and rude. Told me we had had 3 people but only booked for 2 (it was through Hotels.com and my office so I'm not sure what happened) but that's ok because they would be happy not to have us back.

I wish I had never booked there it look like a horror movie in the rooms they wanted me to stay in .No amenities at all the refrigerator didn't work no microwave. Ceilings falling in tub/shower looks look you will need a doctor after I never seen a place so nasty in my life. I had to go to my sister's to shower . Staff no help at all but driving Bentley truck and BMW care but hotel is not up to part.SAVE YOUR MONEY RUNAWAY FROM THIS PLACE OR YOU WILL NE SORRY

Clean room but first had a room with no towels, no fridge and burn holes in the blankets. We were moved to another room but that fridge didn’t work. I am just glad it was a clean place. Has a small pool and hot tub but there were no towels in the area and the hot tub had water in it but the jets didn’t work.

EVERYTHING! The front desk clerk who’s the manager that’s bald and ? was the RUDEST dude I’ve ever talked to checking in to a hotel. Wouldn’t let me ask any questions at all with out being so rude. It got to the point where I said “ stop getting shitty “

I liked nothing about this place. I disliked everything. As a single woman traveling by myself, this place was so sketchy. Disabled cars in the parking lot. Guests hanging clothes out the second story rooms. Not to mention, my room had cracks all through the room and was dark and nasty. If you are asking yourself why didn't I leave, we'll my dumb butt paid in advance through booking.com and could not get a refund. Always trust the scores, lesson learned.

Disgusting don’t go there hair in the fridges blood on wall dust everywhere

Luckily we got a new room but there weren't any bath towels, only could get hand towels and wash cloths to dry!!. The hot tub jets weren't working. I won't ever stay here again
