Great location, room was spacious, exactly as described. AC stopped working for some time.

I did find a restaurant that served a great breakfast but only one and I don't remember the name or location . Location was big plus and it was close to everything but it's easy to get lost even with Google Map. The elevator was broken and walking up 3 flights of stairs was a work out carrying 2 large suitcases even without the bags it was a work out.

Closed to central. Cheap price No hot water for shower

Our room had very low water pressure. There is a club in the same building with loud music at night. The room is pretty expensive for the size and quality.

I stayed one night (a Tuesday) in transit my first night and found it a good solution - central location, good value, pleasant clean room. I booked a four-night stay for my return to Mexico City and that did not go so well. I messaged the hotel that I would arrive late for my return four-night stay. On my arrival (Friday night), I found that they had canceled my reservation for non-arrival, but they were willing to put accommodate me for approximately three times the quoted price. It was late and I didn't have the energy to search for a different solution. Like many hotels in Mexico, the rooms and hallways open to former courtyards of the building. Also opening to the courtyard are two ground-floor bars and another bar two stories up. The live music from the bars made sleep impossible until they closed. I checked out the next morning and found other accommodations.

The place was super clean, the furnishings were beautiful, and there was no lacking of amenity. Friendly staff, fast WiFi connection, modern elevator. The standard price presnted at the reception may not be very impressive, but Booking offered me a generous offer, which was a great deal to me. If you are hungry and want an economical comida corrida, try El sazón oaxaqueño near the place. The only, and a crucial, problem is that there is nobody at the reception and if you ring the bell, nobody comes for you. Most of the staff don't have the key to the reception so they can't help you. One evening it took me forever (which is an exaggeration of 45 minutes) for anyone with a key to arrive. I recommend you always take the key with you anytime you leave the hotel (because if you leave it at the counter, you'll have to wait dozens of minutes when you want to have it back), and don't expect anyone to be present at the reception. If you head for the airport or have an appointment at a certain hour, I strongly you expect an hour of wait at the reception for checkout.

central location Very loud music in the weekend. could not sleep

  • Engine customer Feb 2025

The room was nice size, bed comfortable. Good location. Staff friendly and helpful (no one spoke English and although this doesn’t affect my score, it’s important to know if you don’t speak any Spanish) The windows in my room (305) open to a very noisy courtyard with live music on till early hours of the morning. It was like sleeping in the middle of a lively bar, next to a busy and loud elevator too. One of the pillows had a dirty cover on with someone’s hair on it too. Otherwise, the room seemed clean, but I was concerned that the bedsheets weren’t changed after previous guest which is pretty disturbing. I asked in the morning for my room to be cleaned but I guess I wasn’t u deteriorated (I speak bad Spanish). The bed was made for me but the bedsheets still weren’t changed.

    Exceptional

Nothing Rude and unhelpful staff. Rooms were so dirty that one of us got sick. There was a dead cockroach on the bedside table the entire time even after they "cleaned." They never changed the sheets or took out the trash even after we specifically asked them to. Sheets were full of dirt, hair, and random stains. Rooms stank from the trash not being taken out even after we specifically asked. No running water, and when they "fixed" it, we had dirty brown water. Couldn't sleep due to there being a nightclub in the same building blasting music until 3 in the morning as well as the dirty beds. And on top of everything, the understaffed workers were super unhelpful as they weren't trained to do even the most basic things, on top of which they were simply rude and dismissive. All in all, the WORST hotel experience of my life. You could not pay me enough to stay there again.

I had a “single” room but was booked into a room with a bunk bed, which made the space very small. The doors do not really close and it gets extremely cold at night. The blanket was very thin, so I was very cold and had to get up in the middle of the night to put on more clothes. On the last night, a mouse came into my room in the search of food. It came through one of the cracks in the door. The reception was often empty and I had to wait downstairs for 10min before checking in or for someone to open the main door.

I liked the location with access to what I need and wanted. Bed was good sized and comfortable. Many restaurants in the area and easy access to the subway system and Zocola Square. There was music nearby weekend nights and Dia de Muertos celebrations at the time. A steady base sound from the music was disturbing although I am not sure how common it is. Other nights were OK.
