Friendly staff, great location

Great location as far as being in centro and walkable. The beds and pillows were very comfy. And the girls I met in my dorm were very nice. Our toilet flooded and it took them a while to come clean the mess. We weren’t able to use the toilet in our dorm during my stay. It wasn’t as friendly/social as I was hoping but luckily I still made friends with a couple of my dorm mates

Very noisy. They charge me extra after missing the checkout for few minutes. Noisy.

This is kind of hostels I dream to stay everywhere. Everything is thought out. Every detail, small and big things are for guests starting from design of the space, bed place - it is like capsule completely private, having everything and quite roomy and comfortable. Amazing common spaces as well as their social programs including excursions, classes and hikes. Management is of the highest class. When I returned to CDMX I chose the same hostel from the same brand. Everything is great

This hostel was quiet and gave me a good night's rest. I also met some really cool people in my room, despite it being quiet. Bar was nice for ordering drinks and convenient and I had gnarly food poisoning and the staff stayed up with me in the lobby and helped me order medicine and electrolytes. I don't know if I would have survived it without them helping me out! The bathroom was smelly and I think it's because there just wasn't good air flow. We shut the door in the shared room at night and it wasn't that big of an issue...but not the best thing. Also, I noticed they didn't have many events going on when I was there or if they did, it didn't seem popular and/or advertised. Pretty slow and quiet place. But, still had a really social time there.

Some things were vanishing in the common areas in the property, specially in the kitchen. There was always the excuse that the cameras weren’t working, than I saw them on the TV. The other one that was a blind spot in the camera besides the fridge or that they weren’t recording. I would advice to be extra careful with your personal belongings.

The shower room in the dorms had bad ventilation so it smelt quite bad sometimes. The top bunks are very short so not the most comfortable. The kitchen could do with being a little bigger considering the size of the hostel, only one small fridge as well. Quite a tight area to cook and clean, only really good one person at a time. Also someone stole our eggs even though they were labelled. Not the hostel's fault but quite annoying.

Wish there had been a chair in the room to sit and change ..but that managed

Enjoyed our stay in Casa Pepe. The location was very convenient, with a lot of good places to eat in and the Zocalo within a 10min walk (super good tacos right across the hotel!). The staff was very helpful and the room was thoughtfully laid out and spacious enough for 2 people with huge pieces of luggage. It was located right by a very busy street, but surprisingly we had very peaceful nights and we are able to sleep well. Love the roof deck restaurant ant it was great that they have these daily activities arranged for their guests. Would stay here again when we visit Mexico again! The breakfast that comes with the room could be a bit better or have more options since we are also paying additional for that.

Nothing Staff made a point of me checking out slightly later. Warned against me doing it next time. There won't be a next time.

Curtain in capsule kept falling off and it gets warm in there. There should be at least a chair in the room to put shoes on. The toilet and shower area is separate---very inconvenient.
