Staff was amazing and right by the zocalo with plenty of food and bar options. The shower water temperature regulation was not great. Water was either too hot or too cold, no consistent in between.

It is "summer time" in Mexico city, there is NO AC!! it was SUPER hot at night, and the ceiling fan does NOT cool the room, and it has a timer. The price was cheap, the location was ok, the beds was sooo hard and pillows, i never complain, the staff did the best they could, but i wouldnt recommend

When I arrived at the property my first bad impression I had was that the room I got was in really bad shape with stains on the mattress on both beds and the room had a window facing the neighbors which they had about 20 dogs on the roof barking none stop so I knew this was going to be a problem during at night, the furniture was very old and beat up but luckily after going to the front desk they were able to give me a better room in a lot better shape but the lady at the front desk maybe the manager before giving me the other room was asking if I had use anything which I didn’t like the toilet or something else but I was only at the first room for no more than 10 minutes so I have a feeling the was just a excuse to say no but they ended up giving me another room with no windows but that’s okay……also to get a control remote to use the tv you have to leave a $100 pesos deposit which the guy at the front desk never mentioned when I checked in ..the second room was in better shape and clean, the hotel is located very close to the zócalo and surrounded by restaurants ,taco stands, bakery and stores They tried to give me one of their worst rooms or probably the worst

The location near the Zocalo. This was my second time staying here. The first time I stayed, I asked to move rooms due to excessive noise from the building behind my room. I realize the hotel is not responsible for outside noise. I was moved to a different room. No more problems. I really liked the location and booked again remembering how the hotel was able to handle the noise issue the first time. However, this time when I checked in my room was at the front of the hotel facing the alley. The first night, a Thursday, music from the nightclub on the same alleyway was very loud. Did not sleep at all. I asked to move rooms and was told there were no more rooms. And then the front desk staff offered earplugs because the manager said it was going to be louder that night because it was a Friday. No. I could/would not stay and not sleep another night. So, I moved to a different hotel.

    Location. The noise.

Clean room, nice sized bathroom. Just the basics. One doesn't spend the day in your holtel room in CDMX . No shortage of restaurants within literally 1 second from the entrance and typical food just around the corner. See picture. I had to come home to work again.

Perfect location for the Day of the Dead parade. Loved the decor in the lobby and the view of the Tower of America's from my room. No breakfast. Nearby building has tons of dogs on a rooftop that were loud at times.

The hotel entrance is not well signposted.

  • Engine customer Nov 2025

2 blocks away from Zocalo Stiff beds sadly

  • Engine customer May 2025

Water in shower was not hot

  • Engine customer Apr 2025

No windows in my room, inconsistent AC

  • Engine customer Mar 2025

Overall a great value - BUT the alley side can be very noisy with musis on the weekend until quite late.

  • Engine customer Feb 2025

This time the room was great with the elevator and AC. Good value. The location is difficult for taxis to find, kind of back in an alley. Wish there was a large sign to solve that problem It's also next to a restaurant that just loved Tucked back in an alley
