We wanted to be in the middle of World Cup festivities and it was an excellent option for that purpose. Lighting in bathroom is very poor. Difficult to put makeup on. Breakfast menu free options are very restricted. Service was ok.

We really enjoyed out stay here. The hotel is beautifully designed and the breakfast is lovely!

Beautifully maintained old building and fantastic mural. Pool was out of order during our stay unfortunately.

Such a great marriage of antiquity y modern

Location, facilities, STAFF!!! Bit more bathroom privacy maybe…

  • Engine customer Feb 2026

Location was perfect for seeing the museums and sights downtown. It is a very dense, hectic neighborhood but the courtyard design of the Downtown makes it a peaceful oasis. Breakfast was very nicely done with a small buffet of fruit and pastry along with choice of main dish from the kitchen. The building is a beautiful historical stone hacienda restored with obvious care. The rooftop terrace with pool was closed all day Saturday for a private event, which was disappointing but didn’t impact our overall trip.

Rich in character, style, history, architecture and beauty this property is one of our most favorite places to stay when visiting Mexico City. What’s there not to love?

Absolutely beautiful rooms, converted historic building. I was only there for one night of a layover and there was renovation of the gardens so if I was there longer, this may have bothered me, but for the time, it was no problem. Very very beautiful property and each room so elegantly appointed with a combo of modernist design and the historic brickwork. The entire property is exquisite. Loved the rooftop restaurant where staff were very kind and generous, lovely all around plus great views of the city center from there. Wish I had more time to spend here! Many thanks to all who made my stay so wonderful! It was my first time in CDMX in over 20 years so I appreciated the care, including the gentleman who made sure I had my lunch bag when departing so early in the morning! That sandwich carried me through my travels home! Muchas gracias! All was wonderful.

  • Engine customer May 2025

Very spacious room, big mini bar assortmemt, cute breakfast Room lacks lighting and underpowered noisy air condition

  • Engine customer May 2025

Pool and services Everything was perfect

  • Engine customer Apr 2025

Excellent location, generous breakfast, comfortable huge bed, polite and helpful staff. Our room had only one window, which functioned as the door to access the room from the common areas; if we wanted to have some natural light, people walking outside could peek into our room. The bathroom is basically part of the room (only separated by a frosted glass partition which didn't go all the way to the ceiling), so keep that in mind if you're looking for privacy.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, every single one from bellman to receptionists ? The location was great, although it can get really busy around there. The hotel itself is nice but felt a bit outdated in parts It was overall a bit too dark, around the facilities and rooms lacking character and personal touches breakfast was a letdown too pricey for what you get

We liked the historic building, the stylish modern bedrooms, the friendly staff, the roof top terrace and the swimming pool as well as the lovely breakfast. The location was perfect for the Zocalo which was within easy walking distance. The lighting in the stairway, lift and downstairs vestibule was too dim. Perhaps trying to create atmosphere but in reality, you couldn't see!!

  • Engine customer Mar 2025

We liked the restaurant in the atrium and the bar/bistro on the roof. Wonderful pool and hot tub on the roof. The breakfast was delicious in the hotel courtyard. The room was very dark. Not enough light to shave or to read. The toilet seat would not stay up. The shower drained onto the bedroom floor. We had to use the towels to mop up the pool of water. We were there two nights and our room was not made up.

Lovely Maria Luisa and Viridana who were so kind and helpful. Chargeable extras for hot breakfast (eggs etc.), freezing pool, no windows in the rooms, broken air conditioning, crazy noisy fan, super loud restaurant below the hotel.

  • Engine customer Feb 2025

Exquisite architecture & art, centrally located, lovely breakfast buffet, delicious smelling body products, kind staff Very dim! I mean, I looked beautiful inside, but when I stepped into the daylight . . .

    Very good

The location, the roof top bar, the historic building Weird extra charges for certain parts of breakfast- it should either be included or not. No water in the room, which has been mentioned in other reviews and they still haven’t addressed, they said the reason for no free water was the no plastic bottle policy. This is commendable on some level, but every hotel I stayed in in Mexico offered water in the rooms in glass refillable bottles. Just felt like a way to make you pay for water from the minibar- and there was just a tiny bottle. Not good enough for the cost of this hotel at all. Finally, my room had a bad smell…the window was opened when I checked in presumably to try and remedy this, but it was very noticeable through the night.
