I liked the location. It was close to everything. I liked the breakfasts al fresco. The restaurant in the property was a plus. My room was too small. No microwave. No fridge. The only window faced a wall. It felt claustrophobic. I was glad that we left that room every day and just came to sleep. 6 days in that small room was too much.

The location was excellent. This building is a historical building built in 1783 Aa Spanish noble man lived here with an interesting story. You can look it up in YouTube. His name was Juan Manuel. This hotel is close to everything. Walking distance to El Zócalo, lots of restaurants, the Metropolitan Cathedral, museums, and archaeological sites. We used Uber for everything. The hotel has an adjacent restaurant that has inexpensive food. This room was too small for three people. The only window the room had faced a wall no natural light. It felt claustrophobic. Being in that room for six days what’s a bit too much. I’m glad we only used the room to sleep.

I really loved being able to open the balcony doors and enjoy the view. I also appreciated that a staff member came by each morning to make the beds. The room overall was clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Benjamin, in particular, did an amazing job and really stood out! The walls could use a deeper cleaning, and the ironing board and iron in room 102 are definitely due for replacement. The shower head also needs a thorough cleaning, as the water pressure was low and sprayed unevenly, sometimes causing water to come out of the shower. I also wish they offered more in-room amenities, like ice and basic utensils or plates for guests to use. Although, I did see they had board games for guess to use.

Hotel MX mas Centro CDMX was beautiful, comfortable and very fancy. We loved the historic building and breakfast. Also, we loved the location, just steps away from the Zócalo. Everything was perfect. Everything exceeded our expectation! Nothing we disliked.

great location close to Zocalo / old historic building well preserved with big courtyard / breakfast buffet, on roof terrace, with great view / rooms on top floor had tall ceilings with brick ceiling / cleaning staff kept rooms and public areas very clean small elevator / no storage space or even hooks in room, only 4 hangers in cabinet closet / shower sprays all over bathroom floor so bathmat soaked / desk and chair but no lounge chair or sofa to relax / room 306 has water pipes running over the bed, and 1 of the metal supports was damaged with sagging pipes over the bed: went to reception to tell staff, but they didn't care

very large room (we had the suite with kitchen); excellent breakfast buffet on the rooftop terrace with eggs and other warm items daily as well as yoghurt, fruit, and toast; lovely inner courtyard; great downtown location; good internet; comfortable bed rooms heat up during the day (over 20 degrees Celcius), even in winter; we could open the balcony window to let in cool air, but some rooms overlook the inner courtyard and have no window to the outside, so you would have to run the AC in January; "rain" shower was inconvenient--either you had to wear a shower cap or get your hair completely wet while showering; be sure to dress warmly for outdoor breakfast in winter
