The location is close to all the main attractions as well as restaurants, street food, supermarkets and public transport. It is a 2 min walk to the Angel of Independence. The hotel is tucked away in a very quiet street, has 24hr staff on duty to open the entrance door. It is very secure and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Having breakfast cooked on the terrace every morning was an additional bonus. There is a gym and free laundry facilities available to guests. Airport is a 15 min ride away, Uber was less than $10. I would definitely recommend.

    Exceptional

Very clean room, quiet (little to no road noise, which is a rarity in Mexico City), good location with many restaurants nearby, WiFi worked well in the room. Would probably stay again if I go back to Mexico City. Shower had good pressure but poor hot water - took a while to heat up and then lasted for about five minutes. Room was listed as having a mini-fridge but mine didn't have one.

Loved my suite! Staff was efficient and helpful, and the hotel is located in a safe and walkable area of town. Would stay here again. The property doesn't have a parking lot, which is a must for some travelers like myself. Offering streetside parking would make the hotel even more competitive.

The room service was terrible; the fries were cold, stale, and dry. There was a weird step to get into the bedroom, which I tripped over twice, once spilling all the room service food I was holding. Room service told me it would be a 1.5-hour wait. Very few people spoke English, even when there was an English menu for room service. The outdoor patio was the ONLY place to eat breakfast, and it rained every day of our trip. Even though there was an awning protecting us from most of the rain, it was still unexpectedly chilly.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen area surprised me by offering some unexpected amenities. The breakfast option was nice in theory. The location was good, in that it was so close to so many businesses in downtown Mexico City. The room service was terrible; the fries were cold, stale, and dry.
