The hotel was at a good location and the staff was friendly. The internet was very spotty so I wouldn’t recommend it if you have to work while you’re staying there. And some rooms have windows looking directly at other rooms.

Location great. I had a very inexpensive room, with a window overlooking a utility closet with a window. If I didn't want to share my personal business with housekeeping, I had to keep the blackout curtains closed, which completely darkened the room. This is a clean, inexpensive choice for a quick stay, with minimal to no need for morning in room relaxation.

It’s reasonably close to Polanco and the cleaner was nice A staff member locked the building exit and refused to allow me to leave until I paid a 1,000 MXN “key replacement” fee. I ultimately paid under pressure so they would unlock the door and allow me to exit. Guests should never be prevented from leaving a property until a payment is made. It’s also important for future guests to know that the entrance is controlled by staff. There is no independent way to exit the building. Someone has to physically unlock the door for you to come and go. In my case this became extremely uncomfortable because staff refused to open the door until payment was made. The interaction escalated quickly and staff used profanity during the exchange, which made the situation even more stressful. There were also several other issues. Staff were not available at the check-in time listed on Booking, and after I was told the day before that I could extend my stay, I was suddenly told there was no room available and that I needed to leave immediately. Overall the experience felt poorly managed and very uncomfortable. I would strongly recommend future guests clarify policies and access to the building before booking.
