Avalon Hotel

Location. Location. Location. It’s everything. We absolutely loved our stay at The Avalon ! The staff were fantastic! The rooms are clean. The hotel is well kept. We will be back. Thanks you guys at the hotel for making our first trip to Miami a great time !

There is $50 resort fee which is not mentioned any where. Kind of annoyed because I could have stayed somewhere else for that additional cost which is significant.

The charm of the Art Deco Building, staff were really helpful and the breakfast and lunch options were really good and reasonably priced. The inclusion of beach chairs was really appreciated and on our day of departure the hotel staff were happy to look after our luggage after we checked out. The only thing I felt was missing was tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Air conditioning was cold and trouble free. The safe was trouble free. The refrigerator was modern and kept drinks cold. My family loved the comfortable beds and got a great night sleep. It's also worth noting that the rooms have soundproofing. This was my second stay at the Avalon and have yet to hear noise from an adjacent room. Not even a floor squeak. This hotel focuses on comfort and peace of their clients and does not play constant loud pounding music that is characteristic of other Ocean Drive hotels. The Avalon location is great, directly across Lummus Park and short walking distance to the beach. You should love this well-kept art deco hotel with modern amenities like USB chargers.

I had a great day at the Avalon hotel, it’s right across the street from the beach and lots of dining options are everywhere on Ocean Drive, I will be returning, I love my stay, thank you so much

Property is clean & nice & great location. Staff is nice but it’s old & outdated but very nice. Slightly overpriced for the size of the room & no balcony & no pool.
