Dream South Beach, by Hyatt

Hotel is in an excellent location but needs to be improved. The restaurant/bar is very dark and dated, definitely not a nice breakfast environment. The carpet in hallways needs to be replaced and the roof top pool area needs a refurbishment. The cushions are dirty, ripped or missing. There was no staff on hand to clean up. Looks better in the photos than in real life.

Amazing location, just a few feet from Ocean Drive and the beach. Excellent and friendly staff, clean and comfortable room with daily housekeeping. Rooftop pool was wonderful with plenty of shade provided by umbrellas. Easy to borrow a beach chair, umbrella and towel to head to the beach in comfort too. Room layout was a bit unusual, with the bed up against the one window, so it did feel dark. Water pressure was not the best, but adequate.

What really made the experience stand out though was the service. Everyone was super kind and helpful, but a special shoutout to Joseph at reception for being genuinely so welcoming and professional from the moment we arrived. He made everything smooth, easy, and made us feel taken care of throughout the stay. It’s rare to meet staff that actually leave a lasting impression, but Joseph definitely did. If you’re looking for a hotel in South Beach that gives you the full Miami experience with a great location, rooftop vibes, beach access, and friendly staff, I would definitely recommend Dream South Beach. Would absolutely stay here again. 🌴☀️

The value for the price simply isn't there. The main areas are dirty and not well maintained. Our room was OK.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. They offered convenient check-out options for bikes, towels, and beach chairs. The room was spotless and well-stocked with essentials like soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, and it had a cute porch with comfy lounge chairs and a rooftop pool. It was a short walk to the beach, with a delicious gelato spot and numerous restaurants nearby. The friendly staff and valet service made me feel right at home, and I can definitely imagine myself staying here again.

My return to the South Beach Dream Hotel cannot come soon enough! Excellent service and amenities!

Excellent location, very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The service was outstanding, and the housekeeping team did a great job keeping the rooms spotless. The facilities were well maintained and exceeded my expectations. I would 100% recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. I can recommend it without hesitation.

roof top pool was good coffee not always available at 7. old hotel lighting was strange with switches. walkable was a plus. would not stay there again.

This hotel is perfectly located in miami beach area. All the staff were super helpful and friendly, soecial shout out to Alex the barmaid/waitress...she made our stay even better ❤️. The rooms were clean spacious and airy and breakfast was delicious. The roof top pool and bar were also a lovely added bonus with great views of south beach one way and downtown miami the other way. I would definate return to this hotel if visiting miami again. Nothing!!!
