Location, space. Tv size Very hot but it’s a warm day

Right on the square. Comfortable and quiet. The restaurant downstairs was top notch and everyone there was very accommodating. Might be a little overpriced with no AC.

Great location & plenty of space in the apartment. Ideal for short visit in Ballater or for hill walking in the area Very dated decor in main room, would benefit from being redecorated, ceiling re-papered. TV randomly switches on & signal was unreliable to watch any channels or Netflix but we were only staying one night so not a big deal.

Located right on a beautiful green square. Parking easily available. Large room, comfortable bed, large bathroom.

The property is maintained very well. Very clean and comfortable. Perfect place for the Breamar games. The cost is high for the room. Breakfast should be included for over $300 per night.

Very nice rooms at The Green Inn. Perfect for seeing the Breamar games. Room was very clean and tidy. The price was high for the room. Breakfast should be included for almost $300 per night. But was a lovely room and very comfortable.

Great location

Good location The absolute worst value for money I’ve ever stayed in. The room was incredibly dirty and poorly constructed in every way possible. Cost was the same you’d pay for someplace halfway decent in London.

Convenient place to stay in downtown Ballater. Serviceable enough of a room. Bed, shower, even had complimentary small bottles of wine. A nice touch. Internet was good. Check in was a nightmare. This is not all on the Green Room Inn though. I was traveling internationally and the instructions for check in apoparently came from Booking in an email. Problem was, the email did not fully load on my phone mail app, and when I went to booking's app, the directions for check in were not there. I could not get into the property bc there is no one on site and it's just a lockbox key code to check in (which I could not receive, due to Booking's app, email, lack of internet (being international- no cell service). I was locked out for hours, until 2330 that night. I had to make a 30 min emergency phone call to Booking.com customer service (very expensive) just to be able to get the lock box key instructions that were halfway sent in email, but I could't see it. Absolutely no idea why these directions wouldn't show on the Booking app. I had tried calling the hotel multiple times also, and no answer by the owners. Booking customer service finally read me the key code to get in. It was midnight at this point. It was not a fun evening. I got to the room and crashed, left first thing in the morning. I highly suggest either Booking.com or the Green Room Inn staff make these check instructions easier to receive.

The one room had a very tiny shower that only seemed to have very hot water.
-
Location, nice people No hot water only like warm in shower.

Was a bit chilly and the radiators wouldn’t kick on. But- it was July with some unseasonably cold evenings.
-
Kind, warm, conscientious staff and management: excellent experience.

The bath was great, nice deep soaker tub with plenty of hot water. Having access to the Netflix was a nice bonus. It was FREEZING cold when we got in and barely got to a comfortable level. In the middle of January, during storm Isha it would have been nice to be welcomed to a warm room. Totally appreciate the need to save the environment and be economic, but sometimes it’s a false economy if we are going from zero to full blast on the thermostat.

Safe and quiet. It was chilly so in two rooms dialed up the radiators. Right after we went bed there was loud repetitive alarm. We found a control panel by front door which showed excessive heat. We quickly turned heat down to almost minimal so in a few minutes alarm stopped.

We enjoyed being in the center of Ballater, and proximity to restaurants, bakery, grocery, old train station. The room was smaller than I recall when I booked it, but adequate for our family of 3. Bathroom was spacious. While we didn't get a chance to eat there, it seemed to have a tasty Italian restaurant downstairs. The pullout couch my teenage son slept on was a older variety, and not very comfortable at all. But he's young, and survived. :)

Great location, room was very clean and comfortable. Very good communication regarding hotel access. Once at the hotel, staff were extremely helpful. Nothing we didn’t like about the property.

Great property in an amazing location. The welcome glass of wine was a nice touch but the main reason I would stay again, is the service levels. The owners really went above an beyond to make sure we were happy. Will definitely recommend to a friend!
