Importance to Guest Complaint All was average nothing to complain

I love staying at this hotel nice view ?

The views was Beautiful . The staff was rude the door wasn’t working at first but we got a key that ended up working. It was small

The reception desk looks ghetto and dated.

The a/c was sooooo cold. The room was clean, the view was awesome, the parking was free, the price was unbeatable! It's bare bones, but obviously you would know that.

Cleaned, friendly Staff, Price, Great Location. There was anything to dislike

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and location is good. The hotel is old (as I could see in advance on the website) and there are no amenities (cutlery, plates, coffee maker, microwave). They used a towel of the same size and color as the bath towels as a bath mat, which made me wonder whether guests might be using bath towels that had previously been used on the bathroom floor as mats (we'll never know...)

Very loud music playing at the pool. Lots of children running and playing in the pool. Not a problem but be aware it was not comfortable for older adults relaxing in this area.

The girl at the front desk when I checked in was fantastic, super friendly, very sweet The pictures are very outdated, it was not a nice place to stay, there was a dead roach in one of my drawers, holes in the baseboards/walls, a milipede was crawling around my room at one point, the pool was dirty, the outside chairs were cracked and broken, the shower was nasty. I paid for 2 nights and only stayed 1, the guy at the front desk when I checked out didn't care to ask why I was leaving early, if everything was OK or anything, he was kind of rude.

Could have had better beds

The bedding was really nice and seemed like custom made quilts on there. The TV stations weren't too great but it was ok.

Very hot in room when we first walked in

The only positive thing about this place is the location. It sits right on the bay and the view of the water and the pool area can look nice from the outside. It is also within walking distance of some restaurants, garages, and a Walgreens, which makes it somewhat convenient. The Google reviews for this place are very misleading. They make it look like a small, charming hotel by the bay, but the reality is very different. From the moment you enter the parking lot you can see the property is poorly maintained. The second floor has broken windows and what appears to be old mattresses stacked in an area that looks like an upper lobby. The main lobby downstairs looks extremely outdated. The floors look like they have never been polished, the seating and surrounding furniture look like they have not been updated or properly maintained since the 1970s, and the front desk area is not visually appealing or welcoming at all. A gas station has more curb appeal than this lobby. The staff service was just okay, but they tried to give me a first-floor room when I had specifically requested a second-floor room facing the water. So it seems the requests they ask for during booking are not necessarily respected. The surrounding areas of the property also look neglected and poorly maintained. My room on the second level was acceptable at first glance, but the bathroom and utilities were extremely old and cosmetically unpleasant. There were paint splashes all over the bathroom floor and sink from what looked like a very old paint job. The mini fridge had visible rust. The toilets are so old that when you flush them, the water that comes out clean looks dirty because of the discoloration of the bowl. Many surfaces had visible dust as if they had not been cleaned properly in a long time. The room door does not close properly and the lock feels unsafe. It looks like it could easily be opened if someone moved the handle enough. There was also no proper interior security latch. The property has signs everywhere saying no smoking, yet many people were smoking in the hallways and common areas. The office looked dirty and the patio chairs were faded, dirty, and worn out. The area around the hotel also felt uncomfortable.

Not value for money Rude staff, very old property. No proper WiFi, room has cockroaches.

The location They did not do the cleaning, when I told the receptionist, there was not an apology, air conditioner worked well but really noisy

The staff was helpful and there were a few convenience store options within short walking distance. You get what you pay for and the place is def a bit on the sketchy side. Parking is super tight. Rooms are cute but dated. Curtains are not blackout so light shines through all night. The AC is loud but works. I did not trust the shower/tub—looked icky. And I would have scored higher but I had a HUGE cockroach harassing me in the morning that ruined the place for me.
