Mondrian South Beach

For the amount of money, they charge/resort fees they need to do a revamp. Also, the front desk staff is not polite. Doormen and valet were great. pool was a vibe as well

After nearly two hours of inconvenience, repacking, and changing rooms during a birthday celebration, we were finally upgraded to a clean ocean-view room. While the upgrade was appreciated, it did not make up for the significant amount of time lost or the frustration caused. We were not able to enjoy the pool until around 6:30 PM, which greatly affected our plans. For the price and reputation of a five-star property, the cleanliness and initial condition of the rooms were unacceptable. This experience fell far below expectations.

We visited for Miami swim week and loved our room very spacious and clean.

The first day was so good I extended my stay for another day and really got to take advantage of all the amazing amenities of Mondrian

Staff was amazing and the room was even better in person and the Baia Beach club was the highlight of my stay

Great location in South Beach and a great value compared to similar hotels. The pool area, atmosphere, and service are the highlights. The room furnishings felt dated and showed some wear, and the bathroom could use minor maintenance and touch-ups. Also, be aware that spa amenities require an additional $100+ fee. Overall, the location, pool, and ambiance make it a great option for the price, and I would definitely recommend it. The picture is the view from my Bay view room.

Everything was really good! Staff was super kind

This is the worst vacation in my lifetime. I checked into room 426 the decor didn't match, a small white rusted refrigerator,a black armoire used a microwave stand. This unit was infested with roaches coming put of the bathroom room mirror. The floors are filthy. I called the front desk, I was moved to 1426 , this room had no roaches but the decor sucks. No pictures on the wall, a filthy cream sofa,the patio white table was rusted. I was only offered no resort fee for my stay. I honestly wanted a full refund. I tried the pool and they ran out of umbrellas. This place needs to be inspected by the state not sure if its up to code. Black hallways with dull black paint. I forgot to mention when checking in I wasn't offered champagne but all the other guests were given a glass of the bubbly.

The hotel is very nice if you like a modern feel. The pool ambiance and layout is very well done.

The beach club. The rooms, super old No smart tv, they clean once in 3 days and very old and kind a dirty. Like the couch had some stains. And I did saw big lashes next to the bed ( clearly not mine or my boyfriend)

The staff were rude, unwelcoming, and did not follow through on the services and experiences advertised on their website. For example, they advertise a complimentary glass of champagne upon arrival, but this was never offered to us. The staff also seemed unable to answer basic questions about nearby attractions, things to do, or places to visit. The biggest issue, however, was the handling of my missing sunglasses. I left them in the hotel lobby and realized they were missing approximately five minutes later. The lobby was nearly empty when I left. I immediately called the hotel, and I was assured that someone would check for them and get back to me. I was also told they would review the security cameras. Nobody ever followed up. I had to repeatedly approach the staff myself, and I never received an explanation about whether the cameras were checked or whether my sunglasses had been found. Given how quickly I noticed they were missing and how empty the lobby was, the lack of follow-up was extremely disappointing and left me questioning what happened to them. The rooms were also very disappointing. They were outdated and poorly maintained, with peeling wallpaper, areas that needed painting, old furniture, and mould in the shower. Housekeeping is only provided once every three days, and you have to call if you need additional towels or other amenities. There is also no room service. The one positive was the outdoor pool

200$ hold per night was unpleasant

I did enjoy my stay at the Mondrian to an extent. I loved how we were greeted and my room. What I did not like was the lack of detail such as how often they clean the rooms and the weeknight social hour I was unaware of.

Beautiful resort however there was no ac in our room and it took them forever to finally change the room
