Cavalier Hotel South Beach

This is my 3rd stay at The Cavalier and so far I’ve enjoyed every stay. From the cleanliness to their restaurant is a great experience. Will highly recommend

Welcoming Staff. Love the decor

Staff was excellent. Hotel is in a convenient location. Complimentary beach chairs was much appreciated. Just know the walls are not sound proof which is beyond the staffs control. You will hear every thing in the hallways and room above you…everything.

This is my fourth time staying at the Cavalier. The location is unbeatable for those looking forward to the beach during the day and enjoying the South Beach nightlife. This boutique hotel is a very well-maintained quintessential Art Deco old school hotel with a gated elevator and unmatched design.

We liked the property. We didn’t spend much time in the hotel room we were out and about most of the time so all we needed was a nice place to sleep. The rooms are small, but cute. The hotel amenities are basic. The hotel has a lot of architectural charm. It’s a little bit of a walk to the beach, but not a big deal. The staff was very pleasant. Overall we had a good stay.

Charming hotel!! Very convenient and walkable to restaurants, bars and beach.

The staff were all helpful the building itself was incredible the food was beyond excellent the only bad thing was the valet service so if you stay please park your own car

Good location, boutique hotel. The bathroom is pretty small and it is hard to put your toothbrushes there. It is an old hotel, so the rooms have vintage feel, which comes with fewer amenities. There is no parking, but the valet is available and decently priced, just make sure that you order your car well ahead, if you need it.

Staff & location was great. The hotel was clean & everyone was friendly. The only drawbacks- the room seemed like it was a little warmer during the day-especially compared to the a/c in the hallway. The beach area was a couple blocks away to use your chairs included with your stay but it wasn't a big deal. I would stay here again.

Wasn’t very friendly. Unclear chargers on my card. Never got the chairs or where to get the beach chairs.

I called 3 times for info, too book and for directions and parking and each time I called, it answered quickly and the front ask helped with whatever I needed. Check In was easy. Our rooms were spotlessly clean. We ate outside at their restaurant and service was quick and efficient. The food was excellent. We really loved their open coffee and ice water bar. It was a very nice amenity . They have an ice machine down stairs and I was down there filling up my ice bucket for my water bottles. E Z no problems. The location is great. The beach is across the street. The staff is warm and personable. Even when we are outside we never had to ID our selves as hotel guests, they just knew and always gave us a % discount which is really nice.

Clean room, very friendly staff. Sketchy elevator. Maybe there was another one I wasn’t aware of but I couldn’t get it to come to the 2nd floor so I had to carry my very heavy bags down the stairs. Just a minor inconvenience to me but could be a major one to someone else. I’m sure if I would’ve called the front desk they would’ve been more than happy to help!

Super cute and great location. Waiting staff was great and front was nice but a little lack of communication. Our room air wasn’t working really well so they switched our room and comp our breakfast the rest of the stay.

The staff were incredibly helpful, kind and attentive. I can’t say enough kind words about them, everyone you meet is happy to elevate your stay. It’s a boutique hotel and its charm is beautiful. We loved everything about the visit.

My hotel experience was relaxing and memorable from start to finish. When I arrived, the staff greeted me warmly and checked me in quickly, making me feel welcomed right away. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged, with comfortable bedding and a great view from the window. Throughout my stay, the amenities—like the fitness center, pool, and complimentary breakfast—added extra convenience and enjoyment. What stood out most was the attentive service; whenever I needed anything, the staff responded promptly and kindly. Overall, the stay felt both comfortable and refreshing, making it an experience I would gladly repeat.
