One of the elevators wasn't working; if you needed to go up or down, it took 30 to 40 minutes. Uncomfortable beds and air conditioning with strong wind blowing directly onto the beds.

I've stayed here before and I always look forward to coming back. Nice, clean and cozy!

Very basic. This hotel is only good for sleeping and leaving. They also charge you for “amenities” which includes two water bottles and coffee that other hotels usually offer complimentary. They also did not return the hold on my card until almost a month later…

I had a really great experience but make sure you book online from expedia or another online platform if you’re booking at the hotel its way higher then online.

El staff no hace servicio

Though the staff was good and the room was clean I am giving a 1 star (terrible) because the property only has 2 elevators and 1 was out of service. This left just one to service 15 floors of customers. We were placed on the 9th floor and during check out, we waited over 20 minutes for the elevator to arrive. After realizing it just wasn’t coming we had to carry our luggage down the stairs. To add perspective, we were traveling for a 8 day cruise so we had 2 large suitcases, 2 smaller bags and backpacks. There was 3 small flights per floor. Around the 5th or 4th floor we encountered a man, sweating profusely who offered to help, I later realized he worked for the hotel . I felt so bad for him so gave him money for helping up. The establishment offers an incentive of more time in your room if you take the stairs so this clearly is an ongoing issue that needs to be corrected.

The property only had one elevator working. There was a long line for the elevator. The staff was using the elevator during times when guests were checking in. I am 64 years old and had to walk 12 flights to my room with bags from my shopping at CVS.

1 working elevator for 15 floors. Best thing was the staff, super helpful

Hotel only has one elevator working which is a very old one and extremely tiny. During busy hours you wait for over a half hour to even be able to get on the elevator to go up or down. So you have two choices stand and wait or walk however many flights of stairs for the floor you are on dragging and carrying your luggage, kids etc. it’s awful. Front desk isn’t helpful. And it’s been over two weeks since I was there and I’m still waiting for them to remove a hold on my credit card. Absolutely no excuse for this and unacceptable billing / accounting practices.

The pictures of this hotel online are deceiving, our room looked nothing like the pictures. There were ONLY 2 elevators serving a downtown Miami hotel with 16 floors oh and yea 1 of the elevators was out of order, and for some time at that because they had flyers posted everywhere encouraging guests to take the stairs (to save the planet it said).. at times we waited upwards of 30mins for this 1 elevator because the staff with their large carts were using the 1 elevator as well… I don’t usually write reviews but when I got to the cruise ship and saw that my bathroom on the ship was 1.5 times bigger and 10x nicer I told my wife when this email came in I was definitely going to put this hotel online blast so that other people don’t fall into the same trap we did..

The elevator wasn’t working we was on a high floor had to wait 45 minutes for the 1 elevator that was working the cleaning staff was holding it for them to use we had to call front desk for them to send a security guard to work the elevator

Nice place

You can't beat the location, you cross the street and you are right there, in the Bayfront Park. The room was spacious and clean. Convenient for a one night stay before a cruise. Guest service was very poor. During check-in I asked the person to confirm that breakfast was included in my fare and she said yes. On the next morning, I went to the restaurant in the first floor and the server said that there was no such thing as included breakfast. After I insisted, he told me that I should ask the front desk for coupons, which then I did. It was the same lady that checked us in the previous day. Why make us go through the hassle, instead of giving us the breakfast coupons when I asked? I also got the resort fee charged twice (I had already got it included in Booking), but it was quickly refunded after I messaged them.

The location is what makes the hotel worth it! The rooms are a bit worn, the mattresses were not great, there was mold in certain areas. But the biggest frustration was the elevator. They only had one working the whole time. This is clearly always an issue since at checkin they offer you a later checkout if you take the stairs. Unfortunately we were on the 15th floor, and our mother had an injured foot, so the elevator was a necessity for us.

We arrived very late on a Thursday night/Friday morning around 3am. The card machine was broken so we couldn't get cards when checking in. We had to wait for security to come take us to our 4 rooms and let us in. We had 2 seperate floors so this took a while with 16 people. The elevators were very small and slow and one was broken so they only had one functioning elevator. On checkout day, we were forced to use the stairs to checkout because the elevator was overrun with people and after waiting 45 minutes, we had to take the stairs. The lobby was over run with people. The bottom 5 rows of stairs are marble with no grip mats or anything. There was something wet ok the stairs which led to me slipping down a flight of stairs and bruising my body all down my back and arms. The staff was attentive but I felt bad because they said there was no management there, only supervisor. She did her best. We were charged Ammenity Fees but there were no amenities, at least none that we were told about during our stay. That seems very unfair given our experinece. The rooms were clean but very small. Not much room for luggage and with 4 people per room, it is very tight.
