Breakfast is good, a lot to choose from plus you can have coffees made for you if you wish. The staff are friendly and helpful. It was very clean and well presented. The outside looks a bit scary but the inside is almost 5*. The air-con makes a lot of noise and I understand at the time of travel it was 38 degrees, but it didnt really cool the room down past 26 degrees.

Close to center, good restaurants nearby. Staff helpfull. Not 4 stars Bathroom 7/10 small, shower door not closing all the way, always wetting the floor. Fixtures old. Cleanlines 7/10. Small room. AC old, noisy, dusty and had difficulty keeping up to the heatwave. Lighting in room subpar. Room windows opening on the emergency stairwell, no view to talk about. Soundproofing absent, you could hear all the way to the elevator. Hotel restaurant 1/10 especially in a neighbourhood with a lot of fine restaurants. Breakfast ok, but not 4 stars (had better at 3 stars many times)

Breakfast was very good with a nice variety of classical European breakfast as well as some extra and local items, mostly freshly made.

Nice location for my business trip, great restaurants around. Breakfast was great and so was the staff. The hotel description on Booking said there was air conditioning. There was an air conditioner, but no air conditioning. The room was consistently 28celsius/82fahrenheit. Not the staff's fault, the central air system just couldn't keep up. They kept saying it is just unusually hot in Milan (true, it was 35 degrees celcius, but this is why I picked a hotel with air conditioning!!!). I am pretty sure it is possible to air condition in hot climates (I have been to Las Vegas in July when it was 46 degrees celcius outside and nice and cool inside). I paid appox. $300/night for a '4-star' hotel WITH AIR CONDITIONING, where I felt absolutely miserable the whole time.

The hotel is in a pleasant area three underground stops away from the Cathedral, but very close to the Spa we visited. There is a very good choice for breakfast and all the staff were lovely The air conditioning was very noisy throughout the night. I managed to turn it off only on my third night
