The toilet wasn't working properly

This was a nice place to stay for a night in Milan. It's located not far from the metro, making it easy to get around the city, and there are plenty of nice neighborhoods and a market within walking distance. I appreciated the complimentary welcome drink and the solid breakfast provided on arrival. My room was clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a solo traveler. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and good value for the price.

The area was so quiet and pleasant! Great restaurants nearby as recommended by front staff! Thank you! N/a

Staff all very responsive, helpful. Location a quick taxi to Central Station, a short walk to the Politecnico/university, and maybe 100 meters to the famous Bar Basso (home of the Negroni). Fewer stairs to front desk and main elevator

Modernity and cleanliness and the breakfast! I liked everything

From Milano Centrale train station, the hotel is only a 12 minute metro ride. The closest metro station is only 6 minute walk away. The neigbourghood is not a fancy neighbourghood but it was very safe. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was comfortable and quiet. Modern style hotel. We had dinner at the bistro and the food was good (they gave us 10% off) Breakfast is included but because we needed to leave before the breakfast started, they prepared 2 boxes with a sandwich and cake for us to-go.

I had a really enjoyable stay at 21 House of Stories Città Studi in Milan. The hotel was easy to reach on foot from Milano Centrale station, which made arrival and departure very convenient. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and efficient throughout my stay. I booked a single room and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious, clean, and comfortable it was for one person. I also appreciated the complimentary snacks, water, and cola provided in the room — a thoughtful touch that made the stay feel even more welcoming. Breakfast was very good, with enough variety and small day-to-day changes to keep things interesting. Although the hotel is about 25 minutes from the Duomo by metro, the public transport connections are simple and reliable, so getting around Milan was never a problem. The neighborhood itself is also lovely, with plenty of cute shops, bars, and restaurants nearby, meaning there’s no need to go into the city centre all the time. The only downside for me was that the hotel promotes itself as eco-friendly, yet only single-use cups were available both in the rooms and at breakfast. I understand the hygiene considerations, but reusable glass cups would feel much more in line with the hotel’s sustainability message. Also, there is only one elevator, so at busy times the wait can be a bit long.

The facilities are modern and very comfortable. The staff is excellent, they took good care of us. The breakfast is really nice, they have a real espresso machine as well. The hotel aperitivo hour but we missed it. The location is very comfortable and safe. The location is a little far away from the metro and tram station. But not a real problem.

Location was not perfect

Really friendly front desk staff. Nice building and common facilities. Good value for money. Lots of choice for breakfast. The bathroom was a bit dated.

21 House of Stories was possibly the hotel with the best value-for-money I’ve stayed in in recent years (and I travel a lot). Attention to detail, big beds (American sizes), a great included breakfast, free water and candies available at all times, spotlessly clean rooms, and it’s very close to the subway so you can get anywhere easily (though you can also walk to the city center if you’re a strong walker). But the real value is the staff: they genuinely love their job and go above and beyond to make you happy. A special shout-out to Roberto (who is there every night!). Ciao!!! nothing

Modern, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff.

Property is located in a nice residential area only 8 minutes walk to the Piola subway station (M3) which in turn is 3 stops from Milan Centrale train station. Breakfast buffet was terrific and provided ample choices. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. Guests were limited to one cappuccino at breakfast which was disappointing. I think this is probably a function of the staff preparing the espresso drinks instead of having a self service machine. Although the staff did their best to fix the problem, there was no temperature control in my room and it was quite warm (25°C = 77°F) at night.

All was great

Clean rooms with nice added touches like some free snacks and drinks in the room, nice amenities and a very nice breakfast with a lot of home baked goods. Nothing
