Healthy food and friendly service. There is no elevator

The place was comfortable and clean, nothing fancy, but very good for a short stay. The breakfast is in a cafe around the corner, close by. It did not sound great, but it was actually quite all right. The room is in an apartment on the 2nd floor, but it felt like the 3rd! There is no lift, so if you have luggage it is a bit of a downer. To be fair, the host offered to help over the intercom, I should have accepted!

The room was fresh, clean, spacious and had ammenities in the bathroom which we did not expect. We got complimentary water (4) for the 2 of us in a fridge provided in the room. Mother and son who ran the place, very nice and helped a lot. Both spoke very good english and we could store our handlugge there after checkout, while we visited San Siro Stadium before leaving Milano. Breakfast around the corner in a cute cafe with lovely staff, which also had a lot of italian dropping in for a morning coffee. Choice of three things for breakfast, including fresh pressed orange juice! Maybe 50 metres to busstop so very good communications close by. Reccommend it very much while looking att Milano itself! A little hard to find as there was no big sign directing us to the door. The code did not work, but we called the number on the reservation and a couple of minutes later the son showed up. Spoke very good english and very helpful.

We liked the cafe next door where we had an included breakfast and the staff in there were very friendly. The B&B staff moved us very quickly into a new room when we had some complaints about our previous one. The first room we had, there was mould on the ceiling in the bathroom, our door didn’t lock and the air conditioning unit released black clumps of debris. The walls are also very thin and you can hear everything from the room next door. We managed to change rooms but there was still mould in that bathroom and the air conditioning unit didn’t even work. However we did feel safer in this room as this door did lock. Staff supposedly got someone in to remove the mould but we think it may have just been painted over.

Excellent place , excellent service.

The stay was very comfortable, perfect for myself as a solo traveller. The space had almost everything I needed, and the cleaner was able to help me with small issues that I had. The voucher for the local cafe was a great way to meet people and familiarise myself with the area of the property. The staff at the cafe were lovely and hospitable, and the food was great! Communications with the host were great, Barbara tended to my needs and came and met me after I checked in. It was very difficult to find the property. I was also under the impression that I would be staying within a hostel type organisation, however it was an apartment within a residential block. It would have been reassuring to know this before arriving.
