Boutique Hotel Borgo Nuovo

I travel a lot, and I can honestly say I’ve never experienced such amazing hospitality from hotel staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming, which made the whole stay feel special. And that’s without even mentioning how beautiful the hotel itself is — the photos really don’t do it justice. It’s even better in person! Definitely one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Honestly, nothing. Everything exceeded my expectations.

very clean good food nice and spacious room quiet and isolated air-conditioning was good nice clean and well kept hotel in general very good if you like staying somewhere quiet and not within the hustle and bustle of the city no 24 hour reception and not always available staff location is isolated and quiet but also very far from the center of Milan and there is a bus but other than that not much public transport and not much to do or see in the area. I would not recommend for short stays or without a car for us personally, it was not entirely worth the money. the rooms were nice and luxurious and the food was good, but for that price it would have been nice to have maybe a few more facilities (a pool would be a great addition to the hotel instead of an indoor gym, we think!)

We stayed at this hotel for the second time because we wanted to book the same room we had during our previous visit. The room we booked was supposed to have a large terrace, which was very important to us as we travel with our dog. Instead, we were given a room that doesn’t even appear in the Booking.com photos. It had no terrace at all, even though the room description clearly states that it includes a patio. When we explained that this was not the room we had booked, the staff—who could barely communicate in English—offered us another room in the attic, which also had no terrace. They made no effort to resolve the situation, were rude, dismissive, and generally very unprofessional. To make matters worse, the room had clearly not been cleaned properly. There was dust everywhere, and the overall level of cleanliness was far below what we expected. Another disappointment was that the bed was only 160 cm wide, despite this being the highest-category room. This important detail is not mentioned anywhere on the Booking.com listing. It feels like the hotel advertises one attractive room with a terrace but accommodates guests in completely different rooms without terraces, located in another building. These rooms are not even shown on Booking.com, making the listing misleading. We were extremely disappointed and will definitely not be returning.

Room was spacious, with a balcony overlooking the garden. It had everything you need, comfortable bed, large shower area, coffee and water. Staff are very kind and understanding. Even printed a page for me. Location is convenient. Nothing comes to mind

Location convenient for the purpose of my trip. Staff is very friendly. Every room has character. Nice restaurant at the hotel. Be careful when booking the room with the patio and request the patio specifically as you may end up not having one. A courtesy drink fixed the problem. Thanks.
