Second time staying at Hotel Aspromonte and always recommend - well located in a quiet area but close enough to the city centre! Staff are always very friendly and all the amenities (and breakfast!) are great. Will always stay here when visiting Milan - a great base for exploring Milan and surrounding areas (e.g. Como, Lugano). Decor is slightly dated and the plug points are slightly older too, so don't fit the standard UK/EU adaptor, but was able to buy adaptors locally and survive on portable chargers! Never a deal breaker though - just personal preference.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay. Thank you to the very responsive, helpful, and friendly staff for their warm welcome. Highlights: Nice breakfast, including fresh coffee which could be enjoyed in the green courtyard Very convenient location close to Loreto subway station Wifi A park nearby, offering a nice green area The building itself is very beautiful The attic room was challenging during the hit period, with limited window opening Air conditioner located directly near the bed The room was quite small The bathroom and some furniture would benefit from renovation. No elevator The nearby park area was a bit noisy at night.

Air conditioning was available, contrary to some reviews. Breakfast in the garden Breakfast was fine but a little basic. Stairs only, no lift, but this works for me.

Hitel was in good location and Anna was very helpful. You get what you pay for 3 star is a lower price with lower expectations!

Good location for our needs. 10 mins walk from the metro that is two stops from central station. We were there twice in the same week. First time standard room. Room is small and practical. clean room, very good AC. A bad, table and fridge, also a safe. Second time we came back after a trip, they upgraded us to superior room. It was larger and a good shower. AC took some time to start cooling (this was important in July!). Staff was very nice and helpful in both times. Included breakfast was based only on some basic stuff.

-the staff - breakfast -location -bed was comfortable -a bit outdated. Some features such as the hairdryer need to be updated as the tube kept on coming undone and it took me a while and a towel around the scolding hot tube to get the job done. -the room was cleanish but can be improved to a better standard.
