It was the cheapest hotel I could find, and close enough to the metro. The lady at the reception also seems to be the owner? It seems that this hotel is her world, and so she treats it as such. She was a bit impatient and rude when I was giving her my details and checking in. She was extremely precise in showing me EXACTLY how to open each door, how to open the window, the shutter, the toilet seat, the shower door...... She wasted 15 minutes of my time basically telling me to not slam the doors and to not break things... It's my own fault for not reading information before my visit, but she took a lot of liberty to really treat me like I've never been to a hotel before. In the end its a hilarious experience which I doubt I will ever have again, even insisting to explain the A/C controls to me and warning me to not press the big dangerous red button otherwise it will explode!!! In the end, I don't want to make fun of her, because she was a good host, and is just very particular about her hotel, because she likely owns it.

Location, value The stern and unfriendly reception by the host bordered on rudeness. On arrival, 30 min bombardment with house rules instead of a welcoming smile was simply shocking and unacceptable. Only gradually she backed off and started to treat us as civilised guests and not like antisocial criminals and drug addicts.

It was the best place we could go with our student budget. I was satisfied with everything. I never agree with the bad comments about the Lady, she was very kind and helpful. The rules she wants to be followed are also normal, she didn’t bother us, the woman is trying to keep her property clean and there is nothing wrong with that. The rooms are clean, the hotel is quiet, very close to the metro, you can reach the Duomo quickly. Overall we were very pleased, thanks for everything! Neighbourhood is mostly chill but some nights we felt a bit uncomfortable when we leave metro station, but if you walk fast and not interact with anyone nothing happens :)

Good value for money. Close to the metro to get to the centre of Milan. Free parking was a bonus. The building is quite old and not adapted very well to warm Milan temperatures. We were very hot during the night is my only issue.

POLICE I would honestly recommend skipping this place. The communication before arrival was already uncomfortable. The staff kept repeating the same rules again and again through Booking messages, phone calls, and then once again in person at the hotel. It did not feel like normal check-in, it felt like being lectured. The situation became even worse when the hotel administrator came very close to me, pointed her finger at my face and said: “You will respect me.” When I moved her finger away from my face, she got very offended and called the police. After the police were called, the hotel refunded the money and I left. At that point I was simply happy not to stay there. This was one of the strangest and most uncomfortable hotel experiences I have ever had. I saw other reviews saying that it is better to sleep outside than stay here, and after my experience I understand why. No normal hospitality, no calm communication, just stress from the beginning until the end. I would not recommend this hotel.

Though somewhat strict the lady...

Nothing to like about this place Everything. It has air conditioning but she wants to charge an extra €5 per night to use it!!!! The owner is crazy as a bat! Takes you on a tour of the whole property and does crazy think like showing you how to close your bedroom door and then getting you to practice. Are allowed food, drink or alcohol in your room. Every time you leave the property you much leave your key at reception and call the owner when your back to get your key! I only left for 5 minutes and she had let herself Into my room and I noticed that my bad was open but she says it was because I left the light on! She finally locks the door at 11am and doesn’t allow people to return after that time. When I went to leave she locked the door and wouldn’t let me out until the room was checked. Every thought all was paid for. Felt like kid nap. There are zero facilities on any of the rooms. I was a very uncomfortable stay. I complained on leaving and she said we are only 1 star what do you expect. You should have stayed sumwhere else. Absolutely crazy woman

Stay away from this place. The owner operator is a horrible woman better suited to be a prison guard rather tjam be in the hospitality busness. I had read the reviews and saw she had some strict rules which I dont mind. But to repeat them to me every 10 minutes like I was a child was too much. Not a kind word from her and when I finally called her oit for having a bad attitude she basically told me in Italian to go Fxxx myself. She did not realize that I speak Italian fluently so I told her I was a frequent client of Booking and would report her. She snarled at me and told me she didnt give a Shxx. Nasty person ... bad vibes. Stay away.

Mirra was absolutely lovely and sweet! It's quite near to a metro station, but it's also a nice 20 minute walk to the centre (if you want to).

Absolutely nothing, the lady i guess one of the owner as soon you walk into the property you realise you ended up being in a horror movie. The old grumpy lady at the door treated me like I was mentally retired explaining how to close a door, how to switch on the light how to open the door of the shower, mentioning about 7 times that she doesn’t care and she has to finish to explain all this silly things to avoid breaking anything inside the property, extremely rude, unprofessional, unwelcoming behaviour. The lady could have been the main character of a horror movie, she never leaves the property she sleep on the chair/sofa and seems even upset if you ring the bell to come back. Behaviour of the owner/old lady
