The photo of the supposedly lobby IS NOT really of the lobby of this motel. LOL. I was not thrilled with the female clerk who was at the desk when I checked in. She was snappish and sarcastic. (When I told her that I had both a AAA and AARP card. She said "Oh how nice for you." When I clarified that I wanted to know if I received a further discount, she replied "No, but maybe if you had a CDLC card or something." The latter answer would've been fine. I could've done without the "Oh how nice for you snark." Upon asking she did give me the name of a cab service in the area ( 777-7777) but was annoyed when I asked for the area code. I had to remind her I was visiting from New York, The gentleman who was behind the desk when I checked out was much more courteous.

Never stepping foot in there again. Paid for a 2 bed room for 2 days. Gave a 1 bed the first night and given a dirty room the 2nd.
-
Sketchy motel next to a Pilot truck stop.
-
There were cigarette burns in the comforter. The pillows were basically nonexistent, and it was weird, red stains on the bathroom wall. Along with a creepy trap door in the ceiling that did not look sealed in anyway. I did not spend the night.

The experience was not great beginning with a snippy woman checking me in and unsavory characters hanging around. Room was not clean. All glass was streaked and although non-smoking, room smelled of smoke. Burn holes in comforter and shower didn’t work. You get what you pay for.
-
Worst beds imaginable-mattress was less than 6 inches and less in the center. No hair dryer, no tissues, few electrical outlets to plug devices into. Upside, the towels matched the shower curtain.

The shower didnt work. Only the bath did.
-
Quiet private and clean and staff was friendly The shower didnt work. Only the bath did.

It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the staff was really friendly and the room was clean and it was warm. It was old-school for sure but like something from 1983, but it was clean.

There were pros and cons with the Mayflower...I had to be in Queens NYC at 6am, it was very easy to find off rt.95 in Milford...I arrived at midnight, but no issues checking in, the front desk guy was cool, great sense of humor...had to pay $4 dep for the old school key, no biggie. Room was fine, very dated, but the bed was comfortable with an old-school comforter...pillows need an upgrade tho...bathroom was very clean, shower was good, nice heat and pressure was good...had a nice fridge and great A/C with a remote...TV was fine, but satellite channels were slow to respond...somw shady character urking about, but I didn't feel unsafe...easy checkout at 3:30am....So, for $80 I can't complain too much, but not sure if I'd book it again, it did give me a bit of a Twin Peaks vibe to be honest....all n all it was OK for a last minute stay.

Nothing The lady was rude disrespectful and very unhelpful. They use a fax machine to get confirmation of a room. I never meant to rent a room for sunday monday and when I tried to fix it the women said she cant do nothing til.thr morning. Im sitting in the lobby with 12 year old daughter and im not from CT. A lady offered to let me use her room and the lady refused to let us stay. She needs to be fired immediately

The guy who checked me in was rude, but I’ve had worse. The guy who checked me out was just nasty when a customer brings back a key and doesn’t put it in the exact spot you want there’s no reason to shake your head like in disgust F off never again.
