Northfield Hotel

The wonderful welcome I received when arriving at the Hotel reception desk. Also the fast service and friendly conversation whilst being served at the bar as I tend to be rather shy . The pool was also much appreciated after a walk along the harbour. Would like to stay there again. Nothing. All good.

Super nice place. Very friendly staff and really nice rooms. Comfortable bed. Clean and fresh.

Spacious room with king size bed. Good selection of refreshments. Situated up a side street with sea views. Swimming pool and sauna available. Free parking. The cooked breakfast was not of a high standard. The continental aspect was ok.

The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was well equipped. The staff were also very friendly. It would have been great to have a couple more offerings of tea I.e. camomile or green. Breakfast being served earlier than 8am would also have been a bonus though there was an option to see if a roll would be possible slightly earlier which is good!

Large bedroom and bathroom. Amazing views. Friendly, attentive staff. Location, easy walking distance to pubs and restaurants etc. Some furniture dated and signs of wear. Some parts of hotel had been refurbished, so maybe more to follow.

Nice, friendly staff, nice breakfast, good size room, decent facilities. The cleanliness around the pool area was poor. Yes, the decor was a little tired in some areas, but there's no excuse for not having clean doors, floors, walls, etc.

The breakfast was lovely, plenty to have. It was nice to have the tables allocated to your room. The only thing I didn’t like was the bed was quite lumpy, couldn’t get comfortable.

Location great, dining rooms beautiful and bedrooms have supportive beds and comfortable with heaters and fans supplied. Lounge relaxed. Smoking facilities under cover on terrace if you want it. Lift to upper floors. Staff relaxed and helpful. Towels and bathroom sundries supplied. Coffee and tea in each room with a daily turndown service. Breakfast generous and cooked well. Dinner 4 courses right amount and cheese & biscuits a lovely extra, very affordable. All in all break away was wonderful with spa an added bonus. Very good value with breakfast included. Will return. Bit dusty in some places that weren't a problem for us. Such a big building that you can understand the issue. Nothing to complain about.

Lovely hotel, accommodating staff and good breakfast. All was good.

Location close to high street and beaches We booked 5 specific rooms but reception was closed on Arrival and team were not very comfortable to fulfill our room allocation. We were in group but landed at different floors.

Bed was comfortable and staff friendly. Hotel in lovely surroundings Hotel looked very "tired", in need of tlc. Stair surrounds and carpets not clean. Breakfast ok, no fresh fruit and restricted times, not suitable for a work stay.
