There was hair on the sheets so we asked to switch rooms. Got switched to a room with sticky floors, a busted bathroom door and a toilet that was perpetually clogged. Other units had a broken window that you could see from the outside. Location is also pretty loud. Can hear the train coming through town at 3 am. Did not bother with their breakfast given their low standards were with everything else in the hotel. Avoid.

For an overnight stay closer to the airport, this lodge is my recommendation.

Staff wanted ID for both myself and my wife. - seemed we were going them a favour - not very welcoming The room was clean but seemed lacking. For example missing a towel rack, bed light seemed possessed going on & off by itself, the peephole was painted over, door was hard to open/closed. But despite all that there were good points. Very quiet, and GREAT price. Basically we smiled and left feeling happy - we got what we paid for. Disappointing but ok.

Passable

The first room we got put in smelled like smoke bad and at least they moved us. It was generally clean, but the "remodel" is more like a cover up. The bathrooms were not redone. This place was filled with sketchy people. I will not stay here again.

Breakfast was dry cereal and some English muffins, nothing hot. Freezer and fridge were full of spilled pop. The building had the water turned off for hours and didn’t turn it back on until a couple hours after they said they were going to.

The beds were fine, but the rest of the hotel was not clean, was very loud, and for $300/ night I expected better even if it was during the NDSF

Nothing! *Everything*. We left and found a different hotel at 2 am. Terrible. Unclean. Met by a gentleman who came from his sleeping quarters in the back holding and talking through a giant wad of bloody Kleenex’s because he claimed he had a bloody nose. Found a white packet of who knows what under the bed. Zero soap in the room. Floor and counter was sticky. Outside sign was not even lit up. Half of the front outside door was completely missing.

Very comfortable place and reasonably priced. Breakfast buffet with hot coffee around the clock and knowledgeable front desk people who were friendly. Minot, North Dakota is a nice little college town with train history. Short walk from the station and a Hardee's Restaurant close by which took care of my dinner. Appreciate the friendly staff. thank you David The price was so good it overlooked any shortcomings from a motel that is trying to rebuild for the better.

Floors in room need to be cleaned better. Floors were sticky counters were dirty and headboards were really nice but very dusty. Went during Minot State Fair so understandably way more busy, but considering the price of the room was pretty much double any other weekend could have had a final housekeeper do a walk through with a mop and cloth to wipe down counters and headboards. Otherwise bed was great and staff were excellent.

Nothing Very run down, not clean
-
The room was not clean and the amenities were nonexistent
-
Room floor was not clean, was sticky and socks were dirty if took off shoes in the room. For a room with 2 queen beds having only 2 pillows and 2 towels had us going to the desk to get old worn out additions to a room that should sleep 4.

It was a good stay, we really only slept at the hotel because we were traveling. Limited plug ins, the bed plug in did not work,

Staff were great friendly and helpful. The rooms seem to be updated but the floors were filthy, the toilet had no cover and we had a 16month old with us, the bathroom taps were all dated and barely functional. The continental breakfast shouldn’t even be listed on the booking. There were stale bagels, cereal, packaged cookies/donuts available. No fresh fruit, yogurt or pancake maker like most hotels have for continental. You get what you pay for at this place, glad we were only booked for 3 nights. Won’t be staying there again
