Staff was absolutely fantastic and did their very best to help us through every challenge the property presented....and our rating is connected to the lengthy list of challenges. Odor in room led to an early change of room. Malfunctioning television remote. Malfunctioning elevator. Unvacuumed and unswept floors. Unchanged sheets in beds on arrival. This property would be ok for a quick in and out party vibe, but would not recommend for a family and multiple days.

Staff really kind, but, the room was dirty, smelled bad, rug without vaccum clean, sheets dirty with old lipstick and looks old, color gray instead of white, towels the same. Bathroom smelled bad, floor dirty, the shower and tiles dirty, black and gray, a lot of dirty stains. Old beds with deep holes.

The room was wet—humidity insane. Bathroom disgusting. Won’t stay here again.

My husband, college aged daughter, and I stayed in a King Suite with a sofa bed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn. The level of cleanliness of our room was quite high, especially for a hotel, even by my high standards. The breakfast was quite substantial, had more extensive hot and cold choices, which was constantly restocked. The sofa bed was not very comfortable for sleeping according to our daughter, which was not unexpected for a sofa bed. Other than that, we really enjoyed our room, which has a kitchen with the necessary kitchenware, a full sized refrigerator, and a small dining table seating up to four people. The bathroom had the sink and closet area separate from the toilet and shower, so one could get ready while another is showering. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Residence Inn in Mishawaka, IN.

Black mold in the bathroom, cobwebs hanging from the lamp, bathroom floor was dirty. My 3rd time staying and probably won't be back.
-
Our room seemed damp. bathroom floor had loose tiles. could use an update.
-
The location The staff was rude and house keeping never cleaned the room. Wire's hanging out e ceiling. Pool water also looked cloudy. Breakfast was eggs that weren't cooked thoroughly and sausage links every day.
-
Carpet was not clean the foyers were very nice looked updated rooms need the same

Beds were nearing the end of life. Woke up each day with backache. Toilet was way too low. People with bad knees, like myself, will find it difficult to sit or stand. Could not draw curtains completely closed at night.

The spa bath When it was time to check out and I wasn’t moving fast enough the staff tried to bust in on me while I was naked. Only reason they couldn’t get in is because we blocked the door with the stopper. Also, I couldn’t really sleep due to all the noise going on during the early morning.

Very disappointing experience. Our room had only one towel for a family of four, and the microwave still had someone else’s food and plate inside, making me question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. The biggest issue, however, was how management treated me. After my children and I were told to leave the pool because an instructor was using it—something we were never informed about—I politely went to the front desk to express my frustration. Instead of addressing my concern professionally, the older gentleman who appeared to be management told me I was “running my mouth” and continued using profanity toward me as I walked away in front of my children. I can understand misunderstandings about pool hours or even housekeeping mistakes. What I cannot understand is a person in a leadership position speaking to a paying guest that way, especially in front of their kids. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I hope upper management addresses this.

Location was good for what we had planned. It wasn't very clean, definitely needs some renovation in the rooms and pool area.
-
Staff was very friendly. The bathroom in the room Was dirty. My husband said there was something in the bathtub that he couldn't even describe. I didn't shower so I didn't see it

Very good

The clerk that took care of my check out was very cordial. She was the highlight of my stay. Everything was fine.

The morning we left, the hot food containers were not turned on ( an error anyone might make, but considering the room problems, it was just an added frustration) and consequently the eggs and sausage were cold. The manager, who we have always had a good relationship with, offered to comp our first night. I didn't expect it and don't know if he did. We will give them one more chance next time visit, but they are on " probation".
-
No room cleaning while guests stay.
-
Friendly front desk staff. Breakfast was exactly the same each day and they were out of a few things.
