My stay at Peace Island was pleasant. The front desk staff were all very friendly and always ready to help. The public bath on the top floor was clean and not crowded at all. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The room had a view overlooking the Hirara Port so I could see the nice Miyako Blue whenever I am in my room. The washing machine comes with drying function which was super helpful. The fridge was of a normal size (not like a mini bar) so I used it easily. Location-wise, the hotel is in the town centre and next to the streets that are full of souvenir shops and restaurants. Post office, pharmacy, bank, etc. were all nearby within walking distance.
