Great Location near beautiful cathedral, close to restaurants and bars The staircase to go up to the room was super steep and narrow. If you are carrying even a medium suitcase it gets challenging . Definitely this property not suitable for older people or anyone with mobility issues. The lights were tricky to find.

The owner needs to improve the lighting in the kitchen. One can still have energy saving devices yet have a brighter space in order to see.

Kitchen was a little basic.

The location was perfect - walking distant to all the sites we wanted to see, restaurants, cafes, bars, and the sea. The rooms were spacious. The rooftop terrace with its amazing view was a perfect place for our appertivo each night, and the shared kitchen was a great place to meet as a group but still have our own private room. This is a tower with steep stairs which was part of its charm. Because this is the historic center of Monopoli, parking is nightmare - not the fault of the hosts but something to keep in mind. The rooms have limited places for clothing, no dresser and a closet with just 3 hangers. We were 3 couples and the kitchen was not well stocked: only 4-5 drinking glasses and the same amount of wine glasses, no plates or silverware, no coffee. We also had difficulty connecting with our host to pay our local tax and were left waiting when we wanted to be out sightseeing.

Wonderful location in the old town, amazing view over Monopoli from a roof terrace. A nice little kitchen downstairs, comfortable beds. Everything was great.Steep stairs are to be considered

The location couldn't have been better, and the rooftop view was amazing. I didn't like the steep stairs but there's nothing you can do about that. The room, while very spacious, could have used more furnishings to make it cosier. And I was disappointed that a cafe breakfast was only for the first morning, but maybe I misread the description.

The location is awesome and the rooftop terrace is a beautiful place to enjoy a glass of wine watching the sun go down. Our room was lovely, absolutely huge with a small balcony. The aircon worked beautifully. I found the bed comfortable, but my partner didn’t, so I guess that comes down to a personal preference. The voucher for a cornetto and coffee for breakfast was really appreciated. This is a big one for my partner. The property advertises a shared kitchen and there is one. However, we noted that the kettle didnt work on day one, we mentioned this to the girl who checked us in and she asked me to mention it on the group Whatsapp. I did it straight away, there was no acknowledgment and nor was the kettle replaced. The kitchen was also very limited with supplies, no bowls, we managed to find a plastic spoon. So kitchen, is possibly a generous term. The stairs are steep, no fault of the owner - its just how it is. It was fine for us, but if you have knee or hip problems you may struggle.

It has a great location and all the surroundings are extremely beautiful. The room was spacious, clean and lovely deco. The staff was friendly and attentive. The Breakfast was a surprise bonus as it wasn't in the pack, we had every morning in a cafe nearby. Delicious pastries and italian coffee. The cherry of the cake was the roof terrace with a 360° view of the city, absolutely astonishing! My partner didn't like the shower as he couldn't got the shower head high enough for him and the floor would get wet after a shower. We wish the bed was a queen bed instead of two large singles, apart from that everything was perfect for us.

Great location, spacious clean room with good facilities and very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing really, might have been quite a climb if you’re in the top room!

The location just across from the cathedral, right in the heart of the town and a 7 minute walk to the beach was wonderful. We had a car and it was easy to find parking a few streets away. The room was very spacious and it was charming to stay in such an old building. I also enjoyed the coffee that was available in the kitchen and taking it up to the rooftop to watch the sun come up. A lovely stay. We had no problem with the stairs but for someone with knee problems it could be complicated.

The ticket to the café was a great bonus. We also really liked the access to the coffee machine and croissant in the community kitchen, it added a lot to the experience and well-fare. The staff was incredibly friendly. Highly recommended place.

I liked the spacious room, and the location. The owner's were very easy going and answered quickly. We also enjoyed becoming regulars at The Fritz Café. The roof top has a great view. The aircondition is a little bit noisy.
