The period features of the property are very nicely refurbished and the quality of the building is great. The location is peaceful and the whole ambiance is around relaxation. There weren’t a lot of guests so the pool and relaxation areas were very quiet. The bed could have had more covers. There could have been more staff around the pool. A tour of the facilities would have been helpful. I didn’t realise there was a gym until the day I left.

5 stars for this hotel is a big shame. Couldnt avoid the smell of deepfried food, the constant noise of the toilet that didnt work well. It was horrible and above all a big middle finger to all the Masseria’s nearby with a 4 star rating. This hotel isnt worth 3 stars.

the building is beautiful and the pool stunning. Very quiet and peaceful. I was a little disappointed in the food. The coffee at breakfast did not seem like 'real' italian, the bread was stale and the tomatoes were hard and not ripe. I was served an aperol spritz in a plastic cup with plastic straw which was really not good enough. It would have been nice to have some literature on the history of the farm, and have some information in reception on local places to visit as the ones already there were for things like Puglia Village, a retail shopping outlet, which was not really necessary when there are so many other places to visit. Outside the property, on the main road, there is a terrible amount of litter on each side of the road. It gives a dreadful first impression and it is tragic to see so much plastic waste there.

- very friendly staff - the masseria is very good located - the breakfast was good - the pool was always tidy, also the rooms - for 2-3 days, the wifi didn't work - the organization of the staff was a bit chaotic (especially at the first days, when we were almost the only guests in the masseria) - the aperitivo-bar was not open - at the first days the pool was not open at the announced times - the walls (at least in the area of the masseria we were) were poorly soundproofed

fantastic stay! Alfredo was great, he waited for us to arrive, walked us around the property and was there to answer any questions. the property itself is stunning! It has been recently renovated to a high specification, is exceptionally clean and smack bang in the centre of town. I will 100% be looking to stay here again…why choose anywhere else!!

This is a charming hotel, extremely relaxing and definitely with a character. Our room (26) was one of the best rooms we stayed in. However, keep in mind, there was no shower, just a jacuzzi with a pullout handle. It didn’t bother us. Hotel staff was very friendly. It was nice chatting to young gentlemen at breakfast specifically. Location is perfect. 10 minutes walk to the beach, but if you need beach umbrellas and chairs, you need to either drive for 7 minutes or take hotel’s free shuttle. Keep in mind that there is a pick up schedule to go back to the hotel, you can’t just leave any time you want. There was one minor thing that bothered us. The breakfast started at 8 am, which is kinda late for us and for the industry standard, but, hey, it’s Puglia, I haven’t met a single tourist who spoke language other than Italian. It was definitely a 5 star experience and we will be recommending Masseria Donnaloia to our friends. breakfast started a little too late for us and per industry standard

The wifi didn’t work in my room so I had to move to another part of the hotel so I could work. The dinner was pre prepared and pre heated. Tiramisu was frozen.

Due to work I was limited in enjoying the facilities, but when I did manage to book the spa.... Big recommendation right there!! The bed was an interesting combination of sturdy and yet no fluffy sinking in. The air conditioning was struggling with the intense heat, can't blame here but be warned that it needs to be on 24/7 in summer.
